Jennifer Lopez accused of awkward 'Photoshop fail' in new Christmas selfie

Fans have accused Jennifer Lopez of a 'Photoshop fail' in a new Christmas selfie.

The 56-year-old singer-actress took to social media on Boxing Day (26 December) to share with fans what her Christmas Day antics looked like.

Before the big day, the Hustlers star shared a picture of herself looking up at her massive Christmas tree, as she wrote: "Twas the night..."

And on Christmas Day, she posted a short reel on Instagram and, on X, uploaded a selfie in a stunning embellished burgundy dress with a matching hair bow.

Lopez captioned the selfie: "Merry Christmas one and all!"

However, it didn't take long for eagle-eyed viewers to clock something unusual with the bottom half of the Hollywood A-lister's phone, leading many to be utterly convinced she'd used Photoshop to enhance the image.

Many pointed out that the singer's phone appeared to be bending towards the side, as one person wrote on X: "No hate, but your iPhone is crooked which means you used some filter that you don’t really need."

A second questioned: "Merry Christmas queen - why is your phone bendy?"

"What a terrible Photoshop. The phone is literally bending," hit out a third, while a fourth chimed in: "Damn, had no idea iPhone 17 also curves."

A fifth echoed: "How’d you get the phone to bend like that?"

And a final X user offered: "I love you, girl. But you’ve got to double check for unintended distortion in any photo you edit - before posting."

Over on Instagram, Lopez shared a series of snaps with her 246 million followers from the holiday period, including a sweet photo dump of her and her loved ones all donning matching pyjamas at home.

She also shared a Christmassy reel featuring clips of her posing in the mirror in her festive ensemble, as well as a peek at her decorations and table setting for the special occasion.

Fans seemed to love this with one Instagram user gushing: "Beauty, elegance, and Christmas magic all in one."

"YOU LOOK AMAZING JEN!" beamed a second.

A third then praised: "Holiday perfection! Simply breathtaking."

And a final fan wrote: "Your Dress is matching with the table! So so cute! LOOOVE IT!"

Lopez celebrated Christmas at home with her 17-year-old twins, Max and Emme, whom she shared with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony.

Lopez has been married four times: first to Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998, then to backup dancer Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003, next to singer-songwriter Anthony from June 2004 to June 2014, and most recently to Ben Affleck, whom she married in July 2022 and divorced in early 2025.
