It looks like Jennifer Lopez is keen to erase any reminders of her marriage to ex Ben Affleck, as she’s reportedly covered her tattoo dedicated to him.

The American singer and actress, 56, parted ways with the filmmaker, 53, in April 2024, and their divorce was finalised in January 2025.

The celebrity duo split just two years after they tied the knot in a Las Vegas wedding and Georgia ceremony in 2022, after rekindling their romance in early 2021.

Bennifer had also been in a relationship that led to an engagement back in the early noughties, but called off their wedding plans the first time around.

Despite splitting for a second time and breaking the hearts of diehard fans around the world, the duo seems to be on good terms and even reunited at the Kiss of the Spider Woman premiere in New York City in October, as Lopez starred in the musical and was also an executive producer alongside Affleck.

But, as mentioned, it seems that J-Lo is now hoping to leave her former flame behind as she subtly tweaked her back tattoo, which was originally an ode to Affleck.

In a recent Instagram carousel to celebrate Memorial Day, the ‘On The Floor’ singer included a snap that showcased the tatt.

One photo showed Lopez hugging her son, Maximilian 'Max' David Muniz, 18, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony.

Eagle-eyed fans spotted what looks like an altered version of a tattoo she previously debuted in 2023,

The inking was initially an infinity symbol with an arrow going through the middle and the names ‘Jennifer’ and ‘Ben’ written in cursive.

J-Lo first showcased the tattoo in February 2023, in a now-deleted Instagram post, which, as per PEOPLE Magazine, read: "Commitment. Happy Valentine's Day, my love.”

At the time, Affleck also got a tattoo of two arrows crossing each other with the letters ‘J’ and ‘B’ inscribed alongside it.

Now, while Lopez’s inking still features her own name, Affleck’s appears to be blurred out, as reported by outlets including Hello! And PEOPLE.

It’s unknown whether Affleck still has his own tatt intact or has also decided to do a quick cover-up job.

The picture that revealed the amended tattoo was just one of many in J-Lo’s Memorial Day Instagram post, which showed her spending the day sunbathing and dipping in the pool with her friends and family.

She also shared a video of everyone gathered around an outdoor dining table enjoying a meal, as she wore a stunning, long, embroidered white summer dress for the occasion.

Tyla has contacted a representative for Lopez for comment.
