Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's surprise reunion following divorce leaves fans in disbelief

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have sparked rumours of a potential reconciliation following their very public split just last month - and fans can't believe their eyes.

J.Lo filed for divorce from Affleck on 20 August, two years to the day from when they enjoyed their second, more lavish wedding ceremony in Georgia.

The famous pair, who are known to many as 'Bennifer', were initially engaged in the early noughties before calling it quits due to 'excessive media attention'.

It seemed the two were simply meant to be as they reconciled two decades later to the delight of fans.

They were married in a Las Vegas wedding in 2022, before their Georgia ceremony later that year.

J.Lo celebrated their union with a sweet letter on her newsletter after the two exchanged vows.

She wrote: "We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient."

The high profile breakup broke the hearts of many, but followed months of split rumours.

Ultimately, J.Lo cited 'irreconcilable differences' as her reason for the impending divorce, which according to Slater + Gordon, is the legal way of stating 'people don't get along anymore.'

The up-and-down couple have once again sparked rumours of a reconciliation after they were spotted spending time together after the divorce announcement.

On 14 September, they were photographed together while spending time on a 'blended family outing', as per E! News.

The outlet noted: "Affleck and Lopez were pictured walking into a hotel with his and ex-wife Jennifer Garner's youngest kids Seraphina Affleck, 15, and Samuel Affleck, 12, and J.Lo's twins Max and Emme, 16, who she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony."

Page Six then reported that the two had been spotted 'kissing' during the day out.

A source said: "Ben and JLo are currently at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel holding hands and kissing. The kids are with them, but at a separate table.”

Fans are absolutely shocked at the latest reported twist in the tale - but many also explained that they're happy about a potential reunion.

One person wrote on Twitter: "to be clear i support their crazy love."

Another said: "This is honestly my dream relationship I love s**t like this can you imagine how annoyed their friends are."

A third added: "o not do this all summer while the separation was unconfirmed but instead to do it IMMEDIATELY AFTER it was announced? Iconic. Unhinged. Exactly."
