Jennifer Aniston has shut down plastic surgery allegations once again by claiming she’s ‘maintained’ her ‘youthful’ appearance by practising two methods of self-love.
Much like actor Paul Rudd, many fans believe Aniston must have had a sip from the fabled fountain of youth at some point in her life as she appears to age at an alarmingly slow rate.
The 56-year-old takes an 80/20 approach to her health, reporting in January that this entails: “Eighty percent healthy living and then 20 percent is: Go have a martini, go have your pizza and burgers and stay up late with your friends. There’s a balance.”
Aniston, who returns to helm Apple TV+’s The Morning Show this month as the quick-witted host of Alex Unfiltered and head of talent for UBN, Alex Levy, recently discussed the beloved drama and beauty secrets with Glamour.

After learning her Morning Show co-star Marion Cotillard had described her as an ‘empowering' example of getting older, the American actress said: “I think as far as ageing gracefully, I have an eternal fountain of optimism and positivity.
“Call it youth if you want. But I think it all starts with how we love our bodies and love where we are.”
While the Rachel Green icon admitted to getting facials, lasers, and other ‘good stuff’, she did not confess to ever going under the knife.

“I mean, I’m maintained. I’m not going to just go down and let these grey hairs take over. So it’s perspective, and also knowing that this is our one body.”

Aniston added that youth is essentially just a ‘mindset’ and that she believed Cotillard was a ‘walking beam of sunshine’.
The sitcom star’s powerful statement shut down surgery rumours, which caught fire again last year when she was spotted leaving an upscale clinic in Connecticut with Sandra Bullock and Amanda Anka, as per pictures obtained by the Daily Mail, reported Page Six.

In a 2017 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Aniston admitted she’d had Botox and fillers in the past. However, she stressed she didn’t like the cosmetic procedure because it felt like a ‘slippery slope’.
“I was like, ‘I’m not even going to try anymore,’ because it just wasn’t working,” she told the publication. “It was making me look older than I actually am!”

Since then, she’s said that she wants to redefine the ‘rules’ of ageing, stating: “I’m trying not to think about growing older. I try not to think about age.

“The world will always be there telling us what your age is and what women should do in society when you’re this or that,” Aniston explained to Allure magazine.
“We can make our own rules. It’s all bull***t.”
As well as appearing in The Morning Show, Aniston’s next entertainment roles include starring in an adaptation of Nickelodeon star Jenette McCurdy’s bestselling memoir, I’m Glad My Mom Died, and an untitled project with Sophie Goodhart.
