Kimberly Van Deer Beek asked for comfort from fans this week, after claiming her late husband has been attempting to 'connect' with her.
Dawson's Creek actor James tragically died on 11 February, aged just 48, following a two and a half year battle with bowel cancer.
The 90s star received his initial diagnosis in late 2023 following a screening that revealed the existence of a tumour, which subsequently developed into stage three cancer.
As well as being an actor, James was a father to six young children, Olivia, Joshua, Annabel, Emilia, Gwendolyn, and Jeremiah, all of whom he shared with his wife, Kimberly, 44.

It was she who confirmed his passing in an emotional Instagram statement, claiming 'James met his final days with courage, faith, and grace'.
"There is much to share regarding his wishes, love for humanity, and the sacredness of time," Kimberly added at the time. "Those days will come.

"For now, we ask for peaceful privacy as we grieve our loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend."
In the months since her loss, Kimberly has kept fans of the famous family in the loop with their grief journey - including this week, when she opened up about receiving signs from the late TV star from beyond the grave.
Sharing a selfie of the two of them, she wrote in the caption: "James is normalising the interconnectedness of life for me. The signs, stories and magic I'm experiencing are eye-opening on every level."
The mum-of-six went on to question her followers: "I am so curious how you all connect with those beyond the veil?
"How are they presenting themselves to you?"

It didn't take long for Kimberly's comments to be flooded by her followers, many of whom shared similar signs they experienced after losing a loved one.
"In my dreams a lot," one fan wrote. "My grandparents also will materialise specific things that weren’t there before. My grandpa puts 10 cents places like by my computer when I’m stressed out, and I get up to go to the restroom."
Another shared: "Ladybirds show up for me all the time from my Nanna, whenever I ask for her guidance. They come in the most random ways too; love the interconnectedness."
"This is what I experienced with my best friend when she passed," a third revealed. "It was mind-blowing and really has altered everything for me - such a different perspective on life and death and the connection between the two worlds.

"There have been robins, music played and feathers, amongst so many other signs. Numbers have been really big too."
