Fans have been loving Taylor Swift’s reaction to Sabrina Carpenter’s Grammy Awards performance.

Last night (2 February), the biggest night in music was attended by a number of the industry’s biggest artists, including Swift, whose album The Tortured Poets Department was nominated for Album of the Year.

Swift’s carefree dancing while attending award shows has become a centrepiece her fans look forward to seeing. It’s seen as a fun, relatable, and endearing contrast to the typically uptight and poised vibe award shows often give off. And we all have that one friend who knows how to have a good time anywhere and everywhere.

She also provides a moment or two of lighthearted entertainment and often becomes a viral talking point - and this year was no exception.

The 'Fortnight' singer was spotted having the time of her life in the audience as Carpenter graced the stage at the Grammys for the very first time.

The former Disney Channel star, who won two awards, sang two of her biggest hits from last year, 'Espresso' and 'Please Please Please', and Swift stood up, sang along and cheered her on.

The pair previously worked together on Swift's Eras Tour where Carpenter was an opening act. They also worked with musician Jack Antonoff on their respective albums.

Swifties wasted no time showering her with praise for supporting Carpenter from afar.

“I feel she’s like this because it’s awesome for her being on the other side,” one fan commented on TikTok. “She also knows more than anyone what joy it brings when people enjoy your music.”

Another viewer added: “This is like a concert to her.”

A third person gushed: “I love how much Taylor gets into it.”

While another wrote: “I love that she just enjoys herself always.”

And one Swiftie declared: “She looks like a proud mom.”

Similarly, someone else weighed in on why they enjoy watching Swift have fun in the audience at award shows.

“She’s the only one in the room who seems to still understand what a gift it is to be at all these artists’ concerts in one night! We would all love to be there. I love how she truly lives in the moment,” they commented.

Swift also had the honour of presenting the Grammy Award for Best Country Album to Beyoncé for Cowboy Carter, and it seems the 'Texas Hold ‘Em' singer was stunned by the result.

The 'Shake it Off' hitmaker was seen on the red carpet donning a sparking hot-red mini dress which had a subtle detail with a hidden meaning.

And although Swift went home empty-handed, winning zero of her six award nominations, it looks like she still had a great night out.
