Fans ‘work out’ what Selena Gomez said to Taylor Swift about Kylie Jenner and ‘boyfriend’ Timothée Chalamet

The long-awaited Golden Globes 2024 took place last night - but never mind the awards ceremony, as fans seemed way more interested in one particular celebrity interaction making its rounds all across social media.

During the event, fans reckon Selena Gomez spilt some piping hot tea about Kylie Jenner and her 'boyfriend' Timothée Chalamet to Taylor Swift - and many are rushing to figure out exactly what was said.

In clips from the night that are currently going viral online, Selena was explaining something to the 'Bad Blood' singer and Keleigh Sperry, Miles Teller’s wife, that made their jaws quite literally drop.

And the enthusiastic - albeit amateur - lip readers of X (formerly Twitter) rushed to solve the mystery with one wondering: "What’s the gossip?"

"I wonder what they’re talking about???" penned a second.

A third chimed in: "Spill the tea please I want to know what they said to each other!"

Coming to the rescue, one Twitter user claimed that Selena had asked the Call Me By Your Name star for a photo but Kylie didn't approve.

They interpreted the exchange as Selena apparently saying: "I asked for a picture with him and she (Kylie Jenner) said no" – Selena Gomez."

Keleigh then allegedly responded: "With Timothée?" to which Selena seemingly nodded, leaving the pair gasping in total shock.

Now, such fan theories should be taken with a hefty pinch of salt as nothing is yet to be confirmed - but that hasn't stopped the rumour mill going into absolute overdrive over the juicy speculation.

Some said to take the online rumours at face value - with one person pointing out that this was just 'speculation AKA made up', adding: "Nobody actually knows what they were talking about lol."

"Feel like i’m going crazy because I don’t hear anything even remotely close to that," admitted a third, while a fourth echoed: "Nobody can hear what she said."

One X user joked: "I just love Taylor's face."

A fifth commenter added: "Selena so real. Whenever something happens to me i’m running straight to my girls."

And a sixth claimed: "Why I think this tea is about Timothée not greeting Selena even if they’re friends because of Kylie? There’s another angle when you can tell the other girl is saying ‘noo Timothée??"
