Timothée Chalamet mentioned in Woody Allen's wife Soon-Yi Previn's emails to Epstein

Previn's email exchanges were featured in the latest Epstein files release last week (30 January)

Timothée Chalamet's name has been mentioned in emails sent from Woody Allen's wife Soon-Yi Previn to Jeffrey Epstein - and she didn't hold back.

The latest batch of Epstein files was released by the US Department of Justice last Friday (30 January), featuring more than three million documents that name a number of high-profile royal family members, celebrities and world leaders.

The files included email exchanges linking a number of famous faces to Epstein, who died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting his sex-trafficking trial.

One of which includes email correspondence from Previn, the 55-year-old wife and former adopted daughter of film director Woody Allen, 90, and his then-girlfriend Mia Farrow, to Epstein.

Several of the exchanges were seemingly sent by Previn to Epstein as late as 2018, 10 years after he was first convicted of soliciting a minor for prostitution, one of which discussed her thoughts on Chalamet, 30.

Now, Allen directed A Rainy Day in New York, starring a then-22-year-old Chalamet alongside Elle Fanning, Jude Law and Selena Gomez, which hit our screens back in 2019.

Chalamet decided to donate the money he received from starring in Allen's rom-com to two charities: Time's Up, the LGBT Center in New York, and RAINN - the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network.

He explained at the time that he was 'not able to answer the question directly' regarding his agreement to work with Allen 'because of contractual obligations'.

"I don’t want to profit from my work on the film," he said at the time.

Previn appeared to take issue with this as she sent an email to Epstein along with a negative New York Times review of Hot Summer Nights, which also starred the actor.

"I’m glad that pr*ck Chalamet’s movie did not get a good review," she allegedly wrote in 2018. "No I’m not vindictive. :-)."

The production was shrouded in scandal following the #MeToo movement, an awareness campaign against rape culture, which drew viral attention in 2017 after multiple women came forward claiming that movie producer Harvey Weinstein, a now-convicted sex offender, had abused them.

Allen was previously investigated over allegations that he had assaulted his and Farrow's other adopted daughter Dylan Farrow.

A Connecticut prosecutor said in 1993 that there was 'probable cause' to charge Allen with molesting Dylan, but that he decided not to pursue the case.

Elsewhere in the files, Previn told Epstein she thought that the #MeToo movement 'has gone too far'.

Another message went on to hit out about a 15-year-old girl who had been at the centre of a sexting scandal at the time.

Previn called the girl 'despicable and disgusting', rather than Anthony Weiner, the ex-Congressman who was jailed for sending the messages in question.

Epstein had replied to this message with 'Wow', after which Previn seemingly added that she 'also thought it was disgusting what the 15-year-old did to' Weiner, accusing the victim of '[taking] advantage of guys and she is definitely one of them'.

The email continued: "She knew exactly what she was doing and how vulnerable [Weiner] was and she reeled him in like fish to bait. What is her excuse for being a despicable and disgusting person who preys on the [weak]?"
