Emma Watson’s dating history explained as she’s spotted with Mexican billionaire
Rumours are swirling that the Harry Potter actress is dating Mexican billionaire Gonzalo Hevia Baillères
Emma Watson has set tongues wagging with rumours that she's dating a Mexican billionaire.
The Harry Potter actress, 35, was spotted in photos obtained by PEOPLE Magazine, locking lips with entrepreneur Gonzalo Hevia Baillères in an airport on Wednesday (March 4).
Although nothing has been confirmed, the PDA-filled snaps have sparked romance rumours, especially as the duo were allegedly seen on a dinner date together shortly afterwards.
Watson and Baillères were also reportedly first seen spending time together in Courchevel in the French Alps in late 2025, according to Quién.

Baillères is the billionaire heir to a high-profile Mexican business group and is currently working as the CEO of an investment firm, HBeyond.
It comes after the star previously described herself as 'self-partnered,' explaining in 2019: "It took me a long time, but I’m very happy [being single]. I call it being self-partnered."
Now, though, with a new romance potentially on the cards, let's take a look back at the Little Women star's relationship history.
Francis Boulle
Watson was briefly linked to entrepreneur and Made in Chelsea star Francis Boulle.
As per PEOPLE, the duo were snapped dancing together at a Cartier polo party in 2008; however called off their short-lived romance not long after.
Boulle reportedly told The Sun: "We had a bit of a thing a while back. I have always been an ambitious person, and I want to achieve my own notoriety for what I've done."
Adding: "I actually really like Emma. She's a really cool person. She's a very different person to who she is in the media. That's what I liked about her - she's very interesting."
Jay Barrymore
According to the Daily Mail, Watson dated British financier Jay Barrymore between 2008 and 2010.
Although he is also from the UK, at the time he was living in the US while studying at the prestigious Brown University.
A friend of the actress allegedly told the publication: "Emma and Jay were in trouble for months, and with Emma at Brown University in America, the transatlantic gap proved too much for their relationship to survive."
Johnny Simmons
In the summer of 2011, Watson was seen out to lunch with her The Perks of Being a Wallflower co-star Johnny Simmons, which sparked dating rumors between them.
According to Glamour, a witness saw the two kissing in California, though Watson's rep had denied the relationship rumours, calling them 'complete fiction'.
They were also allegedly photographed hiking together.
Will Adamowicz
Watson was linked to fellow Oxford University student Will Adamowicz from Spring 2012 to summer 2013.
They met while studying at the prestigious UK university in 2011 and were seen partying together at Coachella the following year.
Their romance was plunged into the spotlight when they were papped kissing at the festival, despite the actress wanting to keep things private.
She told Glamour in 2012: "My friend got me tickets [to Coachella] for my birthday, and what am I going to say? 'No, I'm not going to go because I don't want to be photographed'? But it was a huge crowd, and I thought there was no way anyone could get pictures of me, but somehow they found me."
However, by 2013, the pair had split, with Watson's rep telling The Mirror at the time: "Emma and Will separated last summer and are no longer in touch."
Matt Janney
The star's romance with Adamowicz was not the only one she struck up at university, as that's where she also met Matt Janney during her time there.
She was cheering on Oxford in a rugby match against Cambridge in December 2013, and Janney was one of the star players. Sounds like something out of a rom-com to me.
They reportedly hit it off at an afterparty and went on to date for a year, before a difficult split in December 2014.
In 2015, she told Vogue about how she went on a weeklong 'silent retreat' in the middle of their 'horrendous' break-up.
She said: "I felt really uncomfortable. Even before my relationship ended, I went on a silent retreat, because I really wanted to figure out how to be at home with myself."
William 'Mack' Knight
The Harry Potter actress Watson went on to date tech entrepreneur William 'Mack' Knight from October 2015 to November 2017.
They made their public debut together as a couple at the Broadway musical Hamilton in New York in 2015, as per The Mirror.
However, they mainly kept their two-year-long relationship quite private.
In March 2017, she told Vanity Fair: "I want to be consistent: I can't talk about my boyfriend in an interview and then expect people not to take paparazzi pictures of me walking around outside my home. You can't have it both ways."
Chord Overstreet
In March 2018, the Beauty and the Beast actress began dating Glee alum, Chord Overstreet.
They were papped holding hands while walking in Los Angeles, days after they allegedly Vanity Fair Oscars party together.
A source claimed to PEOPLE that they had met through a mutual friend, telling the publication, "They have been dating for a little bit now, but it's still pretty new. They might seem like an odd match, but they actually have very similar personalities."
Their relationship allegedly ended after just six months, with a source telling The Sun that 'things just haven’t worked out between them and they are both now single again'.
Brendan Wallace
Then, in October 2018, Watson was photographed kissing venture capitalist Brendan Wallace, co-founder and managing partner of Fifth Wall Venture, while they were on holiday together in Mexico.
However, neither party ever confirmed or acknowledged the relationship, and it was unclear exactly when an alleged split happened.
The actress confirmed she was single again by the summer of 2019 when she told Vogue she was 'self-partnered'.
Cole Cook
In May 2019, rumours swirled that the actress was dating Cole Cook, who is the brother of singer Alicia Keys.
As per PEOPLE, they were spotted dining at The Spotted Pig in NYC, as well as walking the streets of Manhattan together.
After some fan speculation, they weren't seen together again, and Cook later clarified that it was a one-off date.
In July 2023, he told USA Today: "[We] definitely went out and had a date, but we never really went down that path."
Leo Robinton
In October 2019, Watson was linked to Los Angeles-based businessman Leo Robinton after they were spotted kissing.
However, with their relationship kept private, fans didn't realise who he was until April 2020.
They were only seen together a few times - walking around London's Primrose Hill in November 2020 and leaving a grocery store in LA in March 2021.
There were even rumours that the pair had gotten engaged; however, Watson hit back at the rumours as 'ways to create clicks,' adding: "If I have news - I promise I'll share it with you."
Watson and Robinton reportedly split at some ppoint in 2021.
Brandon Green
Finally, Watson dated Brandon Green, the son of fashion businessman Sir Phillip Green, around September 2021.
They set tongues wagging when they were seen together enjoying a helicopter trip in London, and then, after keeping out of the limelight, in August 2022, the couple were seen holding hands in Venice, Italy.
Reportedly, the former couple split in May 2023, as per the Daily Mail.
Kieran Brown
According to the publication, in 2024, Emma was spotted on a romantic date with fellow Oxford student Kieran Brown.
The duo were allegedly spotted at a pastry shop close to the campus, as well as being seen leaning in for a kiss.
A source told The Sun in July 2024: "She looked incredibly happy - like she didn't have a care in the world. Her suitcases were put in the back of a blue Range Rover by her security, and she was saying goodbye.
"They were incredibly close - they didn't seem to care who was looking. They only had eyes for one another.
"Emma loves Oxford and is here regularly because of her family - but it appears she now has another reason to love the city."
It's unknown when or if the couple has split, as Watson largely keeps her love life private.
