Emma Roberts’ wedding guest list revealed as her own father addresses 'skipping'

American Horror Story star Emma Roberts got married on Saturday (July 25) and a whole host of celebrities turned out for the event.
One notable person who was missing though, was her dad, Eric.
He has addressed 'skipping' the event, which saw Emma tie the knot with her partner Cody John, after four years together in front of a host of celebs.
Her 70-year-old father shared a statement with Page Six, after he was seen leaving a gym in Los Angeles the next day.

Eric said: “I love my daughter, always have, always will. It is perfectly wonderful for her to celebrate however she wants, with whomever she wants.”
Despite his absence, it was a family affair with Emma being walked down the aisle by her five-year-old son, Rhodes, instead.
She shares her son with her ex, Garrett Hedlund.
Emma's A-lister aunt, Julia Roberts, was also in attendance.
Other celebrity guests included Ashley Benson, Kristen Stewart, fellow American Horror Story icon Sarah Paulson and co-star Billie Lourd.
Demi Moore looked stunning as she made a rare appearance too, and Emma's stylists, Brit and Kara Elkin, were her bridesmaids.
It was a scorching hot day, so many of the guests were seen shielding themselves from the sun with white parasols for the duration of the ceremony, which reportedly lasted around 45 minutes outdoors.
The happy couple met through a mutual friend and agreed to 'take it slow' for the sake of Emma's young son.
Cody is also an actor, and has starred in TV shows like Wu-Tang: An American Saga, In the Dark, and The Rookie.
They reportedly met in 2022, and news of the relationship went public when John shares a sweet photo of them kissing on his social media.
Two years later, they confirmed their engagement with an obligatory engagement ring photo.
Emma captioned it: “Putting this here before my mom tells everyone."
Her father previously opened up about his unconventional relationship with Emma on the Really Famous with Kara Mayer Robinson podcast.
He insisted they are not estranged, and said it isn't complicated: "It's only complicated through outside eyes because they don't get any of it, so they have their own take, whatever that is."
Recalling her birth, he added: "I was not to be depended on emotionally whatsoever because I was a car wreck. I was a car wreck because of many things, but I take full responsibility for it.”
In his 2024 memoir, Runaway Train: Or, the Story of My Life So Far, he wrote: “I loved my little daughter with the strength of Hercules, despite my own weaknesses.
“However, I couldn’t handle the realities of an infant coming into my life, and I couldn’t handle being a parent! I’m still not a father figure.
