She might have drawn a colossal crowd during her headline performance on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury over the weekend, but chart-topping singer Dua Lipa has since gone viral for a particularly awkward interaction she endured on Sunday when approached by a fan.

In a clip which has since been doing the rounds on social media, the singer could be seen making her way through the fields of Somerset's Worthy Farm, seemingly enjoying the other musical acts performing over the star-studded weekend.

It was then that she appeared to be caught off guard when a fan approached her with a guitar, asking if he could perform one of his original songs for her 'for 30 seconds' in order to hear her thoughts.

Known online as Liam C, the aspiring musician began by heaping praise onto the red-haired hitmaker, before telling her: "If you like it [my song], I just want to hear your reaction."

Though viewers of the clip couldn't help but notice that Liam had a rather impressive singing voice, it was the awkward length of time for which he performed that has left social media users cringing for him.

Dua appeared visibly uncomfortable, seemingly unsure when to jump in to stop him.

Eventually, she reached out to touch Liam's arm, stopping him in his tracks before telling him, "I love it, mate. It's so good," and seemingly attempting to walk away from him.

As she attempted to escape, however, the wannabe singer went on to ask her, 'Can I get a hug?', to which she awkwardly walked back for a one-armed embrace.

Since then, Dua's reaction has gone absolutely viral online, with some believing that she 'didn't give a single f**k' when attempting to escape.

"She ain’t even let him finish, she couldn’t wait to rush outta there," one joked online afterwards.

Another went on: "She thought it would be like a chorus but he kept going lmao."

"She just wanted to leave," a third noticed, whilst another said: "Someone free her!"

This isn't the first time that the singer has gone viral since her performance at the weekend, however.

Last year, Dua left her fans in stitches after they spotted a 'NSFW detail' in a bathroom selfie she uploaded to Instagram.

At the time the image was shot, Dua had been on holiday with her then-boyfriend French filmmaker Romain Gavras, 42.

In the particular snap from the summer holiday, Dua was showing off her toned physique in a bathroom mirror after having a shower.

However, fans were seemingly distracted by the background of the ‘Houdini’ singer’s image, which showed a steamy shower door.

On the steamed-up glass, it appeared there were handprints dotted across it - a ‘NSFW detail’ that sent fans into an absolute meltdown.

After seeing the post, one Twitter user wrote: “Dua babe u weren't alone in that shower.”

A second said: "There was nothing clean going on in that shower from what I see.”

However, another user remarked that the handprints probably weren’t made as a result of the NSFW activity.

They made their point by typing: "I’m sorry but if those marks are what everyone is thinking, then shouldn’t they be like, more haphazard than that?"
