Timothée Chalamet is arguably one of the biggest names in Hollywood right now.
The 29-year-old American-French actor skyrocketed to fame after starring in the hit romance-drama Call Me By Your Name, back in 2017. From there, Chalamet went on to star in a number of box-office smashes including Dune, Little Women, The French Dispatch, A Complete Unknown and the upcoming Marty Supreme, which is set to hit cinemas later this month (26 December).
Throughout his career, Chalamet has pocketed a whole bunch of accolades, including a Screen Actors Guild Award, in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards, four British Academy Film Awards, four Golden Globe Awards and a Grammy Award. Not too bad for someone who isn't even in their thirties yet!
Now, fans of Chalamet will no doubt know all about the Hollywood A-lister's biggest fan who is not, in fact, a heart-eyed Gen Z member or even a Millennial film buff.

Nope, Chalamet's biggest fan is none other than a 59-year-old Gen X woman named Simone Cromer, who works in the healthcare industry when she's not posting on social media about her favourite celeb.

But how on earth did she even become such a hardcore fan in the first place?
Shedding some light on the internet phenomenon, Cromer sat down with the Wall Street Journal to share a little insight into the mysterious, dedicated fan account for the American actor, aptly called 'Club Chalamet'.
As per Mamamia, she created 'Club Chalamet' in 2018 following two viewings of Call Me by Your Name.
Cromer told the Wall Street Journal: "It wasn’t until the second viewing of ‘Call Me by Your Name’ that it clicked. Like, ‘Jeez, this kid is going places.’”
The publication reported that after an awkward encounter with a young Chalamet fan, she wanted to create a space for older fans of the actor.
Hitting back at her critics, she said: "I'm not ashamed of my fan activity. I'm not a stalker. I'm not weird."
She insisted that she views Chalamet as a 'nephew', adding: "I can't change the fact that I was born in 1966. I don't want to be a 24-year-old white girl running Club Chalamet. I am who I am."
However, her fangirl career has earned Cromer her fair share of critics, who accuse her of being a 'stalker', to which she denies any wrongdoing.

Mamamia reports that a lot of Cromer's criticism stems from 'rants about Chalamet's dating life,' particularly taking aim at his current girlfriend Kylie Jenner.
Her Twitter account has more than 49,000 followers, as well as another 13,000 over on Instagram.
Following the WSJ's piece, fans have been shocked to find out who is actually behind the account.
One Twitter user joked: "I love how every few months a new set of people find out Club Chalamet is a 60 year old woman."
While another wrote: "THATSSSSS CLUB CHALAMET????????"
And a third questioned: "CLUB CHALAMET IS A 60 YEAR OLD WOMAN AND NOT A TEENAGE GIRL?!?!"
