In a tear-jerking new admission, multiple sclerosis sufferer Christina Applegate has claimed she'd have delayed a visit to her doctor if not for a fellow Hollywood A-lister.
Speaking to British Vogue in 2023, the actress reflected on the early days of her diagnosis, revealing one major symptom of the autoimmune condition initially emerged that left her feeling rather uneasy.
Applegate added, however, that she attempted to brush it off, until receiving a warning from another big-name star.
For those in need of a reminder, the Anchorman actress was diagnosed with MS back in 2021 after suffering with slowly ailing health while filming her hit Netflix comedy series Dead To Me.

During a day away from the cameras, she brought her daughter along for a playdate at Cruel Intentions bombshell Selma Blair's house.
There, Applegate told her former The Sweetest Thing co-star - who, herself, has battled MS since receiving her own diagnosis in 2018 - she's started suffering a strange sensation in her feet.
"I was sitting in Selma’s living room, our children playing, and I told Selma I’d been having this weird tingling in my feet," she recalled.

"She said, 'You must get tested for MS.'"
Applegate previously told fans during an appearance on SiriusXM's This Life of Mine with James Corden that she experienced several other symptoms in the weeks that followed.
These included poor balance and speech issues, numb toes and a feeling of being weak at the knees when walking or upright.
Applegate explained at the time: "Things just started to get weirder and weirder, and before I knew it, we were about to start shooting the last season of Dead To Me and by this time I was like, 'You guys, I can't even walk up the steps to my trailer.'"

Despite revealing this week that her doctor 'doubted' MS as being a possible cause of her symptoms, she pressed on, inspired by her friend's vital warning.
Issuing full credit to Blair, 53, Applegate claims she's never have taken her condition seriously if not for her.
"In essence, because of her I’m going to have a better quality of life," she told British Vogue.

Blair went on to discuss the light that she and Applegate have since shed on the condition, which occurs when the body's immune system mistakenly attacks the nerve cells in the brain or spinal cord for an unknown reason.
She told the fashion publication: "I didn’t imagine I could ever make a difference by showing up as myself and being open about my experiences.
"But when others with mobility aids rallied around my presence on the red carpet with a cane and in the midst of an MS flare, I noticed.
"I felt empowered to share. … Now it’s a conscious choice to."
