Rumours are nasty things that can cause a lot of disruption and heartache, but one actor is having none of it.
When we see gossip online, it’s easy to believe it with enough circumstantial evidence. However, when the celebrity in question casually shuts them down, it’s a great thing to see.
Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky have unfortunately been the subject of separation rumours for some time, as ‘concerned’ fans seemingly spotted clues to their split.
But since fans have been rushing to comment on their findings, Hemsworth candidly shared a beautiful snap of himself and his wife on a boat to clear things up.

The rumour mill began after Pataky and their children decorated the family Christmas tree sans Hemsworth at their home in Byron Bay.
One worried commenter wrote: “Haven't seen you and Chris together in a while. Hope all is good”.
However, this was just one of many instances where fans were convinced the couple had split as in October, Pataky flew out to Japan alone with their twin sons Tristan and Sasha whilst Hemsworth was with their daughter India in Iceland.
Then, in November, the pair posted their separate travels again.
But the couple have been spotted several times in different locations, seemingly enjoying their time apart, which has sparked the rumour mill further as fans worry about their marriage.

Though the Thor actor has since shut it all down and pretty swiftly.
As the couple hosted Christmas at their mansion on Monday, they posted a beautiful snap to celebrate the day.
Joined by brothers Liam and Luke Hemsworth, the family gathered together to enjoy the day together.
This is when The Avengers actor too to Instagram to share snaps to show their Christmas lunch off, and huge infinity pool.

It was in this picture that the husband and wife shut down rumours about their split, as they gathered to celebrate the holidays.
But it wasn’t just the actor who shared pictures, as his wife also made sure to capture the moments and showed off loved-up selfies on the beach.
She captioned the pic: “Fiji family adventures”.

With lots of PDA on display, it’s clear to see that the marriage is continuing strong and that the silly comments about their separation was nothing more than over-active imaginations.
