We should all know by now that kids have drawn some pretty mad things over the years.
Whether it's a bizarre imaginary friend, an abstract take on the sun or a very unflattering portrait of a parent, it's clear that little ones all over the globe have been drawing the world around them for centuries now and won't be stopping anytime soon.
And that was exactly the case for rock music legend, Jimi Hendrix, who, when he was just a child himself, drew a picture of the 'King of Rock and Roll' - an artefact which has since gone viral for a pretty wild reason.
The drawing in question, which Hendrix reportedly drew when he was around 14 years old after seeing the 'Hound Dog' hit-maker live in concert, shows the singer holding up a guitar with a load of quotes and lyrics written in blue and red ink framing him.

The drawing Elvis could be seen donning brown shoes, white socks, blue trousers and a burgundy-red jacket.
However, what really catches the eye is the hair.
While many of us would expect Elvis' signature jet-black quiff, the drawing Hendrix drew actually shows the star's original hair colour before he dyed it which is more akin to a sandy blonde-brown.

The key detail clearly brought up parallels with another famous American - arguably the most famous person in the whole of the United States.
Yep, people couldn't wait to rush to social media to share the comparison's between the throwback sketch and Trump's famous back-to-front mullet-fringe situation.

One person awed: "Holy sh*t. He drew Trump!"

"That’s Donald Trump!" declared a second, while a third said: "I truly thought the same thing and figured it was some MAGA art project."
"It’s supposed to be Trump right?" wondered a fourth.
A fifth joked: "Donald Presley!"
While a final social media user said he 'must have seen Elvis before he started dying his hair' as the singer was naturally blonde.

Snopes reports that on 1st September 1957, Elvis played an outdoor concert in Hendrix's hometown at Seattle's Sick's Stadium when the latter was 14 - not 12 as many viral social media posts would suggests.
Apparently, the then-teen was able to fork out the $1.50 for the concert ticket so he came up with the bright idea to listen to the performance perched on top of a hill nearby the venue - a location which made for the perfect view point for him to sketch what he could see from a distance and listen to from afar.
