Chloe Madeley hits back at claims she’s back together with ex-husband James Haskell

The ITVBe star insisted she and James wouldn't rekindle their romance

Celebrity power couple Chloe Madeley and James Haskell left their fans reeling last month when they announced their separation.

Rumours on the status of their relationship had been doing the rounds on social media for some weeks prior to their split, after sportsman James was papped getting close to a mystery blonde woman whilst on a night out in October.

And though Chloe was subsequently seen partying with friends without her wedding ring at the time, the couple - whose ITVBe series Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair was airing on TV at the time - consistently shut down rumours of a break-up.

That was until personal trainer Chloe, 36 - who with ex-rugby player James shares one-year-old daughter Bodhi - confirmed their split last month.

Taking to her Instagram to share her feelings with fans, she wrote: “James and I mutually decided separate at the end of September, 2023.”

“We had not planned on releasing a statement at this time - certainly not while the television show was airing - but constant speculation about our marriage has, unfortunately, forced our hand.”

"Beyond this statement, we will not be speaking about this matter publicly, and we would request privacy at this time.”

Chloe and James were married for five years.

She added: "Our sole focus now is our beautiful daughter. We shall continue to co-parent with nothing but love."

James also shared his own statement to his page regarding their split: “It's with a lot of sadness I write this post, but unfortunately, in the world we live in, it has to be done."

And this week, Chloe took to Instagram once again to address questions on whether the pair could eventually rekindle their marriage in the future.

She brutally wrote to one fan's question: "No. We are friends and co-parents. I'd appreciate it if this could believed and accepted going forward."

Haskell also went on to share the statement to his followers.

Her admission comes just days after James, 38, hit out about the end of their relationship after five years together, accusing photographers of having been the cause of it.

In a furious exchange on the street, James last week waved to a number of paparazzi, telling them: "You ended my marriage."

After much speculation, identity of the mystery blonde in question from James' night out was later revealed to be his close friend, PR director Martine Bridge.
