People only just realising who Brooklyn Beckham’s ex actually is following bombshell claims

People are only just putting the dots together and realising who Brooklyn Beckham's college girlfriend is - and realising she has a famous mother.

The 26-year-old eldest son of David, 50, and Victoria Beckham, 51, sent shockwaves through the world when he released a damning statement aimed at his parents earlier this month.

Taking to Instagram, Brooklyn made it clear he has no plans to reconcile with his family, as well as slinging a number accusations about 'Brand Beckham' and the way things went down at his 2022 wedding to American actress Nicola Peltz, 31.

He claimed: "My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped."

Brooklyn even accused Victoria of 'hijacking' his first dance with Nicola, and pulling out of designing her wedding dress 'in the eleventh hour'.

So, in the wake of the shock claims, a number of people who are somewhat involved with the famous family have been piping up with their own opinions.

From Brooklyn's wedding planner and DJ to his ex-girlfriend Tallia Storm and even Nicola's ex-boyfriend's sister, literally everyone is getting involved.

And now, things have gone a step further as on Wednesday (28 January) ITV interviewed 'a former college girlfriend of Brooklyn,' Afton McKeith, who spoke about how he would get 'incredibly anxious and stressed,' as there would be paparazzi at their college 'every single day'.

She said: "I do know that there were paparazzi every single, like, pretty much every day. And somebody would've been organising that, who knew his schedule inside out because it's not like random."

When asked who she thought had been tipping them off, Afton replied: "I won't say who I think it was, but I have an idea in my mind. I'm not going to implicate anybody."

ITV shared a clip of the chat to Instagram, where Brooklyn's former girlfriend commented: "I was asked to share my thoughts on ITV News this week and it was a reminder that while life in the public eye is loud, empathy should always speak louder than opinion."

However, some of the viewers got distracted by one detail - Afton is actually the daughter of a celebrity who had quite a famous appearance on I'm a Celebrity Get Me out of Here.

25-year-old Afton is actually the daughter of Scottish TV personality Gillian McKeith, whose appearance on the show became well-known due to to her passing out live on air after being picked for a trial.

One Instagram user penned: "I remember her mum on im a celebrity, faint, faint, faint," while a second added: "She's Gillian McKeith's daughter! The dramatic faint on I'm A Celeb woman! Says it all."

However, others simply criticised the interview in general, pointing out that it's a bit of a stretch to interview a former girlfriend of Brooklyn's from years ago.

Someone else penned: "Omg! How would she actually know!?"

While another person chimed in with: "If you have no actual evidence, I don’t see how you can go to an interview and assert assumptions."
