Another of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's children has filed a petition to drop their father's surname from the official title.
This week, their daughter, Vivienne, decided to publicly drop 'Pitt' from her name, following in the footsteps of three of her siblings.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the 18-year-old filed a petition in the Los Angeles County Superior Court to change her name from 'Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt ' to 'Vivienne Marcheline Jolie'.
Asked to provide a reason ahead of a hearing in November, Vivienne described it as a 'personal' choice.
The request comes over two years after the teen dropped 'Pitt' in the Playbill for The Outsiders, which Vivienne helped produce with Jolie's help, and appeared on Broadway in May 2024.
Vivienne reportedly filed a petition in a Los Angeles court (Kevin Mazur/Getty Images for Tony Awards Productions) Shiloh, the fourth-eldest of the former couple's kids, was the first to make the controversial move.
Her lawyer, Peter Levine, confirmed in 2024 that the youngster had launched legal proceedings to change her name from 'Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt' to 'Shiloh Nouvel Jolie' on her 18th birthday in May of that year.
"The media should be more careful in their reporting, especially when covering a young adult who has made an independent and significant decision following painful events, and is merely following legal process," Levine told PEOPLE at the time.
The couple announced their separation in 2016 (Dimitrios Kambouris/WireImage Shiloh's name change came just months before actors Pitt and Jolie finalised their divorce, having first announced their separation in 2016 after two years of marriage and 10 years together.
Despite citing 'irreconcilable differences', what followed was a chaotic legal battle over custody of their kids and control of several of their assets.
Details were made public at the time, alleging an incident had occurred prior to their 2016 split, during which Pitt was accused of shoving his wife into a bathroom wall, choking one of his children, striking another in the face, and pouring wine and beer over his family.

Maddox, the ex-couple's eldest child, then made the decision to change his moniker a year after Shiloh, with the 24-year-old's name appearing as 'Maddox Jolie' in the credits of his mother's latest movie, Couture, which he assisted on.
Next came third-eldest, Zahara, 21, who filed a petition to change her name with the Superior Court of California last month, having gone by 'Zahara Marley Jolie' for several months prior to making it official.
Maddox and Zahara also dropped 'Pitt' from their surname (Karwai Tang/WireImage) This was included in her video application for membership at Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, and more recently, at her university graduation ceremony, where she received a BA in Psychology.
