It's been a decade since news of their shock split hit headlines across the globe, but Angelina Jolie claims she's not yet ready to move on from Brad Pitt.
In an unexpectedly candid comment, the actress this week discussed her post-divorce dating life, shedding light on how tricky it's been to balance romance with work and parenthood.
The couple first announced their plans to separate in 2016 after two years of marriage and 10 years together, having famously met on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith in 2005, while Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston.
Despite citing 'irreconcilable differences', a bitter legal battle ensued over custody of their six children, as well as ownership of their joint assets, which included their French winery and estate.

Jolie, 51, allegedly sold her stake in the vineyard to a Russian oligarch without Pitt's knowledge, prompting the Oceans 11 actor to accuse her of deliberately damaging his pricey investment.
Despite some fiery legal back-and-forth, Jolie and Pitt, 62, had their divorce finalised in 2024.
Since then, fans have wondered who'd be first to dip their toe back into the dating pool - but by Jolie's own admission, the entire affair has reshuffled romance in her list of priorities.
"To be candid, I haven’t dated since I divorced a decade ago," the Wanted star told Yahoo Entertainment. "So I kind of get in my head that that aspect of me is not centred in my life if I’m focusing on my children, my family."

Jolie then tied the topic to her latest character, Maxine Walker, whom she plays in her new film, Couture.
If you hadn't yet caught wind of the big-name production, the actress plays an American filmmaker and full-time mum who gets diagnosed with breast cancer while working at Paris Fashion Week. Oh, and she's enjoying a love affair with a cinematographer, Anton.
Of the lesson that playing Maxine has taught her, Jolie added: "It took me a second to kind of say, well, she can also love her daughter and be dedicated to her daughter and also need this as a woman and receive this as a woman."
Elsewhere, she also said: "So yes, things are changing, but in a way I didn't expect. It doesn't feel like I'm 51 and starting to think of being older.
"I'm thinking I have to live again. Be free again, in a way that maybe life has broken me a little bit."

While the A-list beauty insists she has other matters on her mind than men, the same can't be said for Pitt, who has dated several stars since their split.
Not only did he enjoy a confirmed relationship with German model Nicole Poturalski and a fling with Emily Ratajkowski, but he'd also been loved-up with jewellery company executive Ines de Ramon since 2022, whom he now lives with.
