Reason behind Billy Ray Cyrus' divorce to wife Firerose after seven months of marriage

Less than a year after tying the knot for the second time, Billy Ray Cyrus has tragically announced his divorce from musician wife Firerose.
And now, concerned fans are wondering what could have possibly triggered the shock split between the musical pair after such a short marriage.

The 62-year-old - father of Grammy award-winning artist Miley Cyrus - was previously married to manager and producer Tish Cyrus for 29 years, before the pair announced their divorce back in 2022.
During their marriage, they also welcomed children Braison and Noah Cyrus.
Whilst some fans of the celebrity duo held out hope that the pair would rekindle their romance - having previously split and reconnected numerous times in the past - they respectively moved on to new partners within a matter of months.
Whilst Tish went on to marry Prison Break actor Dominic Purcell, Billy Ray wed fellow musician Firerose - real name Johanna Rose Hodges - in October 2023.
After they tied the knot, they shared a joint statement which read: "10/10/23 will always be the beautiful, joyous day that our two souls united as one in holy matrimony.
"It was the most perfect, ethereal celebration of love we could have ever imagined. For both of us to hear the preacher say, 'Billy Ray and Firerose Cyrus . . . I now pronounce you husband and wife' that was the sacred moment our new forever began. Long Live Love!"
Sadly, however, seven months on from the happy day, documents seen by E! News this week show that Cyrus has reportedly cited 'irreconcilable differences' and 'inappropriate marital conduct' in his quest for a separation from Firerose.
Cyrus is also seeking an annulment due to his reasoning that 'consent to marriage was obtained by fraud', according to the publication. The date of their separation is reportedly listed as 22 May.
Cyrus and Firerose are yet to comment publicly on the situation.

Recounting how he met Firerose, Cyrus told PEOPLE that they met on the set of the show his daughter Miley starred in, Hannah Montana, in 2011.
He said: "I loved doing that show. There's a couple old pine trees on the lot that look like Tennessee.
"Tex and I would go out there in the middle of the day and he'd take care of his business and we'd stretch and I'd think how much I missed Tennessee.
"On that given day, Firerose came out of the front door. There was almost a moment of, I don't know, recognition. I was like, 'This girl's a star.'"
Despite Cyrus and Firerose not posting about each other publicly since April, Firerose took to the social media platform to share her sobriety anniversary on 1 June.
She wrote: "8 years sober today by the grace of God! 8 years ago God performed a miracle in my life.
"One day at a time since then I’ve given my will & my life over to Him. He’s been loving & faithful in all promises & never left my side. It’s only by God’s love & His wonderful grace that I get to remain sober & share that hope with others still suffering in addiction. I couldn’t be more incredibly grateful for that gift. If you’re struggling right now, just know there is NOTHING He can’t do!!
