There are two brand-new additions that have just graced the halls of Blackpool's Madame Tussauds and the've sparked quite the reaction online.

People have since been quick to slam the newly-unveiled wax figures of Beyoncé and Lady Gaga as 'horrifying' after the waxworks museum announced the news.

Laga Gaga is the latest addition to Madame Tussauds Blackpool waxmuseum.

Beyoncé's figure is dressed in the style of her glittering House of Timothy White hooded bodysuit, which she rocked at her Renaissance album launch at the Paradise Club in Times Square, while Gaga's figure can be seen in a sparkly gown complete with a thigh-high split and white platform lace-up boots.

Fans of the two pop icons were quick to reveal their honest thoughts on the wax figures with many rushing to X, formerly Twitter, to share their reactions.

One hit out: "Beyoncé and Lady Gaga from Shein."

"They did gaga so dirty I'm crying," penned a second while a third quipped: "At this point they should just give up."

A fourth asked: "Do they know they are Beyoncé and Lady Gaga?"

"Nah, what were they thinking?" slammed a fifth while a sixth claimed: "Looks nothing like them."

A final Twitter user echoed: "These are horrifying."

Others, however, seemed to think completely different of the wax works.

"Wait the gaga one looks so good," commented one Twitter user.

A second added: "They look so real!"

Someone who was clearly very ethusiastic about the unveiling gushed: "Madame Tussauds Blackpool never disappoints! The new wax figures of Beyoncé & Lady Gaga are giving us LIFE!

"They're so incredibly lifelike, it's like having the real queens right in front of us. The attention to detail is just mind-blowing. Beyoncé's fierce stance and Lady Gaga's iconic fashion sense are captured flawlessly."

Speaking of the decision to immortalised the award-winning singers in wax, Janine Marshall, Head of Operations at Madame Tussauds Blackpool, said: "Beyoncé and Lady Gaga are prominent cultural figures of the 21st century, and we are delighted to add these strong, inspiring women to our A-list line-up.

"The new wax figures, due to our talented team of artists, are incredibly lifelike and fans will be thrilled to grab a selfie with them and be the envy of their friends."

It reportedly takes a team of 25 artists to work on just a single wax figure, spending a total of 800 hours collectively.

This is broken down into a mammoth 350 hours to sculpt the figure, a staggering 187 hours to insert a head of hair and a still pretty hefty 30 hours just to fashion together a set of teeth.
