Benny Blanco has reportedly joked that his wife, Selena Gomez, has the ‘diet of a five-year-old’ in a surprising admission.
The music producer, 38, who tied the knot with the singer and actress, 33, in September last year, opened up on the couple’s foodie habits to none other than Gwyneth Paltrow at a Goop Podcast live show on Tuesday (12 May).
As reported by Hello! Magazine, Benny told the businesswoman that Selena ‘has the diet of a five-year-old child’ and likes to eat ‘whatever is bad for your diet’.
He added, “This morning I walked in, and she was eating Jack in the Box at 6:45 in the morning,” referring to the fast food chain.

Benny revealed that she ‘doesn’t really like fruits or vegetables,’ but does 'eat the s**t out of' food from Goop Kitchen, Gwyneth’s ‘certified clean’ takeout brand she launched in 2021.
It's described as a 'menu of heart bowls, vibrant salads, delicious handhelds, and more, all gluten-free and often finished with goop Certified Clean sauces, dressings, and marinades'.
But apparently, when Selena gets a salad bowl from the ’healthy’ takeaway business, she always leaves the lettuce for Benny and ‘everything on top of the salad’.
Gwyneth reportedly laughed: "This is NOT Goop approved!"
Reacting to the admission, fans joked on X: “Imagine exposing your wife like that, he really loves her though.” and “I identify a lot with Selena.”
It comes after Benny previously revealed that his wife is a big fan of delicious 'comfort food' - and to be honest, it sounds like he's a pretty great chef.
He told The Kitchn: "If I hit her with the steak night, I'm getting love - that's all I need to do. She loves a good steak; she wants the steak, she wants the potatoes, she wants the creamed spinach,"
"She's a big fan of fried chicken and French toast. She knows the good [expletive]. She always knows where to go – her nose always goes to the best recipes. She's from Texas, so comfort food is big for her."
It comes after Selena and Benny got everyone talking when the music producer launched his new podcast earlier this year - Friends Keep Secrets, with his celebrity friends and co-hosts Dave Burd aka Lil Dicky, and the rapper's wife, Kristin Batalucco.
With a promise to be 'a first-of-its-kind show,' the podcast is different in the sense that it involves 18 hidden cameras being rigged throughout Dave and Kristin's LA home, bringing viewers inside 'an intimate hang with the hosts' real-life friendships and the guests that pop in'.
And it certainly was unique when the debut episode included Benny farting and lounging on a couch with his feet up, with the soles appearing to be covered in dirt.
On top of that, another episode saw Selena kissing her husband's feet in an effort to shut down the hygiene rumours.
Who would have known that someone's feet would cause that much of a fuss?
