We're all different when it comes to our grooming habits, but it's clear some of us are a tad more laissez-faire in the cleaning department than others.
And that's exactly the case for celebrity it-couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, who tied the knot back in 2015 after starting their relationship in 2012, as they once revealed their eyebrow-raising bathing admission.
The couple, who share two young children together, Dimitri Portwood, born in 2014, and Wyatt Isabelle, born in 2016, appeared on Dax Shepard's popular Armchair Expert podcast back in 2021, where they made the bold confession.
It all started when podcast co-host Monica Padman told 42-year-old Kunis: "You should not be getting rid of all the natural oil on your skin with a bar of soap every day."

The Friends with Benefits star agreed and took things one step further, revealing: "I don't wash my body with soap every day. But I wash pits and t*ts and holes and soles."
Padman then replied, admitting: "I can't believe I'm in the minority here of washing my whole body in the shower. Who taught you to not wash?"
It seems like Kunis and 47-year-old Kutcher are one and the same, as he also shared that he regularly uses soap and water on just his 'armpits and crotch' and 'nothing else'.

The duo also went on to reveal that they raise their two kids with the same approach to washing.
"When I had children, I also didn't wash them every day. I wasn't the parent that bathed my newborns - ever," the Ted star said, adding: "That's how we feel about our children. We're like, 'Oof, something smells.'"

Kutcher then chimed in with his philosophy on the matter: "Here's the thing - if you can see the dirt on 'em, clean 'em.

"Otherwise, there's no point."
When asked why they take such an approach, Kunis opened up about how her upbringing in Ukraine led her to value essential washing resources.
The mum-of-two, who was born in the Eastern European country before moving to America at age seven, then went on to explain: "I didn't have hot water growing up as a child, so I didn't shower very much anyway."
It seems like Dax and his wife, Kristen Bell, employed the same philosophy when it came to washing their own kids after peddling the 'wait for the stink' method, which is arguably a far more extreme route to take on the cleaning front.
