Just when we thought the whole Ashley Tisdale 'toxic mom group' drama was over, fans now think that she and Haylie Duff are throwing shade at Hilary Duff.
To catch you up, the 38-year-old High School Musical actress went viral earlier this month when she wrote an essay in The Cut about how she left her toxic pals in 2025.
She explained how after the birth of her first daughter, Jupiter Iris French, who was born in March 2021, she was 'craving connection with other mothers'.
Tisdale said she 'felt lucky' and was 'certain that she'd 'found her village' when her friend 'brought together a group of new moms that she knew', which blossomed into playdates and a parenting group chat.

However, she detailed how things quickly turned sour and she began to feel 'frozen out of the group' prompting her to leave the chat as it's 'too high school' for her.

While no names were dropped and Tisdale's rep has denied this is true, fans think the subject of the article was a specific celebrity mom group she was publicly part of for some time.
The group in question included the likes of Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore and Meghan Trainor.
Internet detectives went wild, however, as we say, Tisdale's rep said the essay is about a 'completely different group of friends', adding that her 'beautiful, meaningful' essay was supposed to focus on exclusion in friendship groups, which is a 'real issue' in 'mom circles'.
Despite this, Hilary Duff's husband Matthew Koma seemingly got involved as he recreated Tisdale's image on The Cut article and shared to his Instagram story, alongside the text: "When You're The Most Self Obsessed Tone Deaf Person On Earth, Other Moms Tend To Shift Their Focus To Their Actual Toddlers." Brutal.

Things died down a bit but now, fans are convinced the drama has reignited after Hilary's sister Haylie Duff, who she reportedly doesn't speak to, posted a picture of Tisdale's eldest daughter Jupiter, four, playing with her daughter Ryan, 10. Tisdale also reposed the snap.
Rumours surrounding the sisters' relationship have been floating around for a while, with US Weekly reporting that the siblings haven't been pictured together since 2019.
Although, neither Hilary nor Haylie has ever addressed anything publicly.
According to numerous publications, including BuzzFeed and The Daily Mail, Haylie also liked Tisdale's Instagram post promoting her essay.
And as per MailOnline, the rumoured feud between the sisters allegedly stems from tensions involving Hilary's husband, Matthew, and Haylie's fiancé, Matthew Rosenberg.
Either way, fans have been left flabbergasted by the unlikely friendship.
Discussing it on Reddit, one social media user wrote: "Knowing the drama she made public and posting your kids knowing this connection will stir it back up is…a choice."
While a second declared: "I wasn’t sure who’s side I was on in the toxic mom group drama before. This seals it."

And a third penned: "Doing an interview where you claim your former friends are toxic, try to backtrack when it doesn’t get the reception you want from the public, and then hanging out and posting pictures on social media of your kid playing with the kid of your former friend’s sister, who she doesn’t speak to, is loser behaviour."
Others chimed in with: "Oh this is SO messy?!?!?" and "Not the sister hilary doesn’t speak to….it’s gonna get good."
While someone else penned: "Oh she's M E S S Y (and also tone deaf..)" and another wrote: "Well now it all makes sense lmao."
