Fans have been left gobsmacked after discovering Ashley Roberts' age as she celebrated her birthday on Thursday (14 September).
That led to her receiving a call in 2003 from Robin Anton who asked her to join the Pussycat Dolls, alongside Nicole Scherzinger, Melody Thornton, Carmit Bachar, Kimberly Wyatt and Jessica Sutta.
The spell in the jungle even landed the Pussycat Doll a gig on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway as well as a radio show on Heart.
So it's safe to say that Roberts has accomplished a lot in her career to date, though many were left shocked at finding out her age this week.
Taking to Instagram, Roberts shared a bunch of photos from her b-day bash at Heart Radio.
The radio host revealed that she turned 42, leaving many surprised as they thought she was a lot younger.
Roberts captioned the birthday pictures, which included one of her indulging in a massive cake, with: "42 tastes goooood. Thank you for all the bday wishes. Have so much to be grateful for.
"Sending out all my love hunni’s. thx to my @thisisheart fam for making me feel special. Love u."
Many fans flocked to the comment section of the post, with one person penning: "How are you 42? You look 22 if you was a day. Happy Birthday xx."
A second added: "Flip those digits! Not looking a day over 24 sis - happy birthday, big love as always!"
While a third remarked: "I think you’ve got them numbers the wrong way round… happy birthday trouble! Hope it’s a goodun."
Roberts' birthday comes after the Pussycat Doll star told The Sun she felt 'more connected' to her body now she's in her forties.
Speaking to the outlet last year, Roberts said: "As you get older you start giving less f***s. You are more connected to yourself and wiser.
"I feel excited about the years to come because I feel better than how I felt in my twenties. Part of how I express my femininity is feeling sexy.
"It makes me sad to think about women not allowing themselves to feel that as we continue on.
"I’m like, ‘Let’s get our sassy, fierce, feminine sides out there’. Let’s embrace that part of ourselves. It doesn’t stop with age, right? I mean, we’ve all seen Jennifer Lopez at 52."
