Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's son Knox, 18, shows off new look after name change

Knox Jolie has undergone a lot of upheaval lately, including a name change as his estrangement from his dad, Brad Pitt, continues.

Like many of us going through big life moments, the 18-year-old has decided on a bold new hair style and colour to mark the occasion, too.

Previously seen on the red carpet with a closely shaved head, the teenager has now been spotted with wavy hair in a bright hue.

Knox was seen leaving a Muy Thai session with rose pink and red hair on top with the textured waves, with the underneath shaved close and dyed blonde.

Last year he was seen debuting a tousled baby pink style, so it seems he's a fan of the bright dyes.

Knox is the latest of the Jolie clan to change his name, dropping the 'Pitt' just weeks before his 18th birthday.

Page Six reported that he went by Knox Jolie at his recent high school graduation too.

Knox is following his siblings, after his twin, Vivienne, filed a petition in Los Angeles County Superior Court to start the process of changing her legal name from Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt to Vivienne Marcheline Jolie.

According to PEOPLE, she put the reason as 'personal'.

It's not known if Knox has also filed the official paperwork yet, but several of his other siblings have.

Zahara also filed to legally change her name to Zahara Marley Jolie, while Maddox is seeking to become Maddox Chivan Jolie.

Back in 2024, Shiloh also changed her name to Shiloh Jolie.

A source close to Pitt told PEOPLE: “It’s sad to see someone repeatedly publicize their successful alienation of their children from the other parent."

Jolie previously said in an interview that when the twins turned 18, her custody agreement with Pitt ended and she wants to travel the world.

She told The Hollywood Reporter: ""I am here because I have to be here from a divorce, but as soon as they're 18, I'll be able to leave. When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety."

"I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be…that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here [in LA]. I'll spend a lot of time in Cambodia. I'll spend time visiting my family members wherever they may be in the world."

Pitt has also recently revealed he is drinking again, after spending seven year sober.

He told Esquire that he is trying to drink 'in a more restrained manner' and know his limits.

“I got overconfident a couple times, went, ‘Yep, nope, not good for me. Not in big quantities'," he confessed.

He added: “I can have a few, but I can’t have a lot. I have to be professional about it.”

“I was sober for seven years,” he revealed, “and then I got back off the wagon.”
