Alabama Barker reveals why she asked dad Travis to buy 'inappropriate’ present for her

The 20-year-old treated her followers to a haul of her Christmas and birthday presents last week

Alabama Barker has explained why she asked her dad for lingerie for Christmas after facing backlash online.

For those not in the loop, Alabama is the 20-year-old influencer daughter of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and his ex-wife Shanna Moakler, who boasts millions of followers on social media.

She took to TikTok last week to share a lavish list of gifts from her celebrity family this year, for both Christmas and her birthday on December 24.

The haul included presents from her stepmother, Kourtney Kardashian, whom her dad wed in 2022, as well as other members of the Kardashian clan, like Kylie Jenner, who treated her to a designer handbag. Not to mention her fuzzy Hermès slides from none other than Kris Jenner.

But as we say, the present that caused backlash was actually one from her dad - four corsets as well as some lingerie from Agent Provocateur.

Alabama said in the clip: "So my dad went a little crazy at Agent Provocateur. Kourtney picked out most of it and then the girl knows me there, so she like gave recommendations of what I liked."

However, despite noting that Kourtney and the shop worker picked out the items, some people still found it uncomfortable that her dad was gifting her underwear.

She was met with critical comments that read: "The concept of her dad getting her Agent Provocateur lol" and "'So my dad went a little crazy at Agent Provocateur' is a WILD thing to say."

However, Alabama quickly hit back at the haters with a follow-up video, in which she again clarified that it was her step-mum who picked out the lingerie.

She said in the new video: "I have to go on a f***ing rant. Why the f*** are you guys trying to make this lingerie thing a thing?"

The 20-year-old added: "It's never going to be a thing Gretchen. Kourtney picked out the lingerie. Kourtney. You think my dad's like, 'I'm gonna go pick out my daughter lingerie?'

"No, it was on my Christmas list and he wanted to make it happen for me so he let Kourtney go pick out the lingerie. God forbid a girl wanted cute panties and bras."

Alabama brutally added: "Like literally, leave me alone. I'm literally never going to do another Christmas haul. I hate you guys."

But that wasn't the end of it, as someone commented on the new video: "Why would you want that for Christmas? When you can literally buy it any other day, food for thought."

However, Alabama responded by pointing out how expensive Agent Provocateur pieces are, writing: "Do you know agent prices lol."

And she's got a point, as bras by the luxury brand start at around £80 a pop, with prices going up into the hundreds.

Some of the corsets on the website will even set you back more than £1,000, so it's safe to say it's not exactly your average underwear shop!

In fact, one of the specific corsets Alabama got will have seen her dad fork out a whopping £800, while another she showed in the haul costs £515.
