Alabama Barker’s ‘inappropriate’ Christmas present from dad Travis raises eyebrows

Alabama Barker has sparked quite a heated discussion online after sharing with fans exactly what she got gifted for Christmas.

The 20-year-old social media star, who is the daughter of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and his ex-wife Shanna Moakler, took to TikTok over the weekend to share with her 5.9 million followers her combined Christmas and birthday haul in a nearly nine-minute-long video.

The lavish rundown of presents, which included several designer purses, 10 pairs of shoes and diamond jewellery, amounted to a staggering $200,000.

In the video, Alabama said she was 'beyond blessed, grateful and thankful' after celebrating the holiday as well as her birthday, which was Christmas Eve.

One of the priciest items in the haul was from her stepmother, Kourtney Kardashian, whom Travis married back in 2022.

Kourtney gifted Alabama a pink Hermes Birkin bag valued at over $20,000 alone.

Keeping on the theme of Kardashian presents, she also shared she received various designer handbags from Kendall and Kylie Jenner, with Kris Jenner gifting her Hermes slides, while dad Travis got her multiple pairs of luxury high heels as well as a new pink computer and tablet.

Her dad also got her a number of sets from Agent Provocateur, a luxury lingerie brand.

"My dad went a little crazy at Agent Provocateur," she said, while showing a number of corsets, slip dresses, mesh robes and lingerie, but added that Kourtney 'helped picked out most of it' along with a store worker.

Some critics rushed online to share their thoughts on a father getting his daughter lingerie for Christmas, as one TikTok user penned: "The concept of her dad getting her Agent Provocateur lol."

"'Kourtney picked out most of it' babes that didn’t help at alllll," slammed a second as a third chimed in: "Her dad bought her lingerie idc who 'picked it out' that's weird."

Others, however, couldn't have disagreed more with the backlash as a fourth commented: "You don’t know that it was his idea, I’m sure he wasn’t like 'let’s get my daughter some lingerie' he probably just paid for it."

"She probably wears most of those pieces as statement pieces," theorised a fifth, while another added: "It’s mostly all corset tops that she can wear out."

And a final TikTok user echoed: "Those corsets are gonna be paired with like jeans, and after five pants they don’t wear that for like lingerie per se. Let the girl live."
