Neil Patrick Harris calls out Abbey Lee Miller for editing his face

Neil Patrick Harris has hilariously called out Abby Lee Miller for getting a little too heavy-handed with her photo editing app.

We've all been there - you downloaded FaceTune just to get rid of a tiny blemish or smooth your skin a little bit and ended up getting carried away and adding a slew of different filters and effects.

You may think nobody can tell but unfortunately, sometimes it is just glaringly obvious.

And that's exactly what happened to Dance Moms icon Abby Lee, 60, when she posted a slew of pictures to Instagram after seeing the play ART on Broadway in New York City yesterday (2 December).

She posed for pictures at the stage door with James Corden, Bobby Cannavale, and Neil Patrick Harris, who star in the comedy play.

Abby wrote in her caption: "If you truly want to LAUGH OUT LOUD!!! Then go see @artonbway.

"With these incredible comedic actors @nph @j_corden and @bobby_cannavale. On tv they are superstars, live on stage - their timing is impeccable, and in person afterward - such gracious kind gentlemen! Thank you for an incredible evening if NY Theater!"

She also tagged the trio in her social media post, however, as we say, fans noticed there was something a little amiss about Neil's face.

He seems to have fallen victim to some sort of glamour filter that Abby Lee put on the picture before posting it, giving him extremely smooth skin but a slightly scary looking face.

Confused, the How I Met Your Mother star commented: "Ummm… what did you do to my face..?"

The post has quickly gone viral and fans can't get over the hysterical photoshop fail, taking to the comments to add their own jokes.

What makes it even funnier is that Neil is the only one who got this treatment and the other actors look completely normal in their selfies.

One Instagram user wrote in the comments: "Did you airbrush Neil Patrick Harris?" while a second added: "You guys are so airbrushed love it."

A second and third penned: "wth happened to Neil Patrick Harris" and "awww NPH plastic surgery looks so good".

Someone else jokingly questioned: "why did u yassify him miss abby," while another person agreed: "now THIS is a true work of art".

Others chimed in with: "Why does the third slide look ai generated" and "stop why did she airbrush him i’m cackling."

One person guessed that maybe she was trying to edit her own face and the filter also latched onto Neil's without her realising.

They quipped: "Guys she edits her face so it also edit the persons…. Neil."

While someone else joked: "They bringing out wax models of Neil Patrick Harris to events now?"

Over on Twitter, the picture has gone similarly viral, with one fan writing: "why is abby lee miller editing all of her photos like this and why did she do it to neil patrick harris, he looks scary!!!"

Another joked: "Abby lee miller's facetuned neil patrick harris is sending me."
