The wait is over! The Saved By The Bell reboot has finally been given a release date - and it's not far off!

The reboot will arrive on our screens in November and will see the return of original cast members as well as some new faces.

And after a lengthy wait of over a year since we first heard about the reboot, it's now been confirmed to be arriving on 25th November, on streaming service Peacock.

Check out the trailer below:

So what's it all about? Well, the official synopsis explains how governor Zack Morris gets into a sticky situation when he begins to close a number of low income high schools.

It continues: "[Zack] proposes they send the affected students to the highest performing schools in the state - including Bayside High. The influx of new students gives the over-privileged Bayside kids a much needed and hilarious dose of reality."

As we see in the trailer, old friends AC Slater and Jessie Spano reminisce about their time as students at the school, with Jessie asking: "Remember all the dances we had in this gym? Ever wish you could go back?"

And the nostalgic trailer also references a moment from the classic show, as Jessie is shown swiping some caffeine pills from a student, with the song I'm so excited playing in the background.

So who will be returning? Well, OG cast member Mario Lopez - now 46 - will be joined by Mark-Paul Gosselaar (who plays Zack), Elizabeth Berkley (who plays Jessie Spano) and Tiffani Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski).

Speaking to PEOPLE about the reboot earlier this year, Mario said: "It's a little edgier and updated, but not naughty by all means. It's a lot of fun and I'm having fun with it.

"The old gang's gonna be back together, the new cast we have is great and very creative. It was like we picked up where we left off."

New stars of the show include Belmont Cameli, Dexter Darden, Mitchell Hoog, Alycia Pascual-Peña, Josie Totah and Haskiri Velazquez.

The reboot officially lands on NBC's Peacock on 25th November. While there's currently no word on when Peacock will be available in the UK, we've got everything crossed we'll be binging the reboot as soon as possible!
