New Trailer For ‘Saved By The Bell’ Reboot Just Dropped

It's so exciting!

A new trailer has dropped for the Saved by the Bell reboot and it's taking us back to the original TV series tbh, with massive pangs of nostalgia.

Classed as a "reimagining", this new Saved by the Bell sitcom will premiere on NBC Universal's new streaming platform Peacock, though we still don't know when.

It's said to be a modern retelling of high school life from the viewpoint of a new set of students who transfer to Bayside High when governor of California and former Baysider Zack Morris (yes, the Zack Morris) closes down too many low-income high schools.

Starring original cast members Elizabeth Berkley and Mario Lopez, we can also expect a cameo from Zack Morris himself (aka Mark-Paul Gosselaar).

And the new trailer already promises the reboot will be worth the wait.

The minute-long clip shows old friends AC Slater and Jessie Spano reminisce about their time as students at Bayside High.

"Remember all the dances we had in this gym?" Elizabeth Berkley's Jessie tells Mario Lopez's Slater. "Ever wish you could go back?"

"Sure do," he replies.

And the juicy trailer also references a moment from the classic show, as Jessie is shown swiping some caffeine pills from a student, with the song I'm so excited playing in the background.

"Are those caffeine pills?" she asks a student. "At first they're so exciting and then it gets even more exciting, but after that it gets so scary and, in the end, you ruin your girls group's shot at a recording contract."

"What?" the student answers, baffled.

The original show ran from 1989 to 1993 (

Though the original show ran from 1989 to 1993, reruns and a series of follow-up shows made sure it retained its popular spot with fans for many years afterwards.

Also starring Tiffani Thiessen as Kelly Kapowski and Lark Voorhies as Lisa Turtle, we sure hope that more star cameos are planned for this reboot, though we can only wait and see.

Saved by the Bell will air on Peacock.
