East End drama Top Boy's fourth offering has begun filming - and this is very exciting news indeed!

The Channel 4 show, which has since been picked up by Netflix, is currently filming its fourth series for the streaming service, according to the show's star, Kano - aka Kane Robinson.

The new instalment is actually named Top Boy season two, seeing as the first two season's of the show were renamed Top Boy Summerhouse by the streaming platform.

The actor, who plays Sully in the gritty drama, confirmed the welcome news with a behind-the-scenes video of life on set.

Take a look here:

In the short clip, we see Ashley Walters - who plays Dushane in the show - reveal the very exciting news that the show has already begun shooting.

"Yo people, what you saying?" the actor begins, "It's your boy, Ashley Walters.

"I'm not gonna stay here and talk for long, I don't need to. You know what time it is.

"You can see the mask, you know where we are so we're obviously shooting Top Boy," Ashley then reveals. "You asked for it, we gave it to you."

Kano then comes into the shot.

"There you go, season two, Netflix, let's go," he adds.

We can't wait!

Top Boy (the most recent season) follows two seasoned drug dealers as they return to the streets of London, their pursuit of money and power threatened by a young hustler.

Taking viewers into the housing estates of east London, we see tension between rival drug gangs that operate almost openly and those who strive to live honest lives against the odds in the crime-riddled area.
