Fans of This Country were left bereft when the hit BBC mockumentary aired its final season this year - but show star Paul Cooper may have just thrown us a life line.
The actor - who also happens to be the father of show co-creators Daisy May and Charlie Cooper - had teased there's "possibility" of the show returning for a Christmas special. Yaaas!

Paul, who plays Kerry and Kurtan's father, Martin Mucklowe, told Metro: "A Christmas special is a possibility like Gavin and Stacey but not for a few years.
"The kids have got other projects they are looking at and I think they will write another comedy together but they want to explore other things."
Like This Country, Ruth Jones and James Corden's hit sitcom Gavin & Stacey finished after three series in 2010, but enjoyed a Christmas special last year, almost ten years since last airing.
Similarly, This Country aired its third and final series (plus a special in 2018) in February this year.
While he quashed suggestions of any more series, Paul also said he's be game for a film, if the opportunity arose.

"There won't be another series but I wouldn't say no to a special or a film maybe in a few years time," he told Metro.
This Country has been hugely popular ever since its first season aired in 2017.
Since then, the comedy series has also won much critical acclaim, picking up an RTA and a Bafta in a string of six award successes.
It centres around the hilarious adventures of Lee 'Kurtan' Mucklowe and his cousin Kerry Mucklowe (played by the Cooper siblings) and their day-to-day lives in a small village in the Cotswolds.

It's loosely based on the siblings' own upbringing in the Gloucestershire town of Cirencester.
News of a potential special? Well that's music to our ears...
