The Fault in Our Stars (the film that had us all in tears in 2014) is being released on Netflix in January and it will probably make you emotional all over again.

The romantic tragedy will be available to stream from the 13th January and it is the perfect choice for those nights where you just need to lie on your sofa with your duvet and some ice cream.

Based on John Green's 2012 book of the same name the film follows Hazel Grace Lancaster (Shailene Woodley), who is a 16-year-old cancer patient.

Hazel soon meets and falls in love with Gus Waters (Ansel Elgort) from her cancer support group, due to the circumstances the pair meet Hazel feels that Gus really understands her.

One of the things they have in common is their love of books, especially Grace's favourite, 'An Imperial Affliction' by Peter Van Houten.

When Gus secures an invitation to meet the author, he and Hazel head off on an adventure to Amsterdam together.

We're not going to give the plot away but it is a film that everyone has to see just once in their lives and although it is a bit of an emotional roller coaster it is the perfect film for a cosy night in.

The film became number one at the box office during its opening weekend, and grossed over £242 million worldwide.

Netlfix has released a whole list of new releases for December and January including a new film starring Sandra Bullock called Bird Box.

Described as a cross between Stephen King's work and A Quiet Place, Sandra stars as Malorie Shannon, a mother who is trying to save her two children from a mysterious force that makes you take your life if you look at it.

To survive, Malorie will have to undertake a perilous journey with her children while they are all blindfolded. The film will be available to stream from the 21 December.

Netflix also have a new Ted Bundy crime documentary coming to the service on the 24 January.

Conversations With A Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes, will take viewers "inside the mind" of a serial killer. The four-part documentary series comes exactly 30 years to the day after Bundy was executed by electric chair for the 1978 murder of Kimberly Leach.
