With so much going on in the lead-up to Christmas, it can feel difficult to look ahead any further than 25 December.

Then, of course, everything beyond that feels like a strange no-man's land, with little to look forward to as we wave off that festive indulgence to make way for calmer times on the other side of new year.

But thankfully there is a lot to be excited for this January - as proven by what's coming up on Netflix, from true crime documentaries to stand-up comedy specials.

The Queer Eye crew are returning with a new season.

Netflix fan site What's On Netflix - which compiles listings across the world for the streamer - has pulled together a full list of forthcoming TV shows and films, and it's looking like we've got a good month in store.

On New Year's Day alone, we've got a Netflix original true crime documentary called Bitconned, follows three men who exploit the cryptocurrency market to scam millions, and You Are What You Eat: A Twin Experiment, which sees a pair of identical twins change their diets and lifestyles to see how certain food impact the body.

Beyond that, there's the likes of a new season of Love is Blind (this time in Sweden), the latest instalment of Queer Eye and a Netflix original series starring Sofía Vergara called Griselda.
