Married At First Sight Australia star Susie Bradley has spoken out about being portrayed as a "villain" on the show, claiming there were multiple incidents which didn't make it onto the screen.

The reality TV bride, 25, has been criticised for showing what seemed like complete distain towards her husband, Billy Vincent, from day one of their match.

After being labelled "nasty" and "trashy" by a troll on Instagram, Susie wrote back: "You are so naive! IT'S NOT REAL!"

She added: "Billy called me ugly, hit on Tamara [Joy] and told me didn't give a f**k!"

Susie also made comments about Billy's drinking, adding that the personal trainer was "extremely manipulative".

Alleging that producers didn't show the full extend of their relationship, she went on: "They chose not to show all of that!"

"I got cast as the villain, not him! So until you ever experience something like MAFS yourself, your comments are so incredibly invalid and incorrect," she went on.

Like many stars who have received criticism for the behaviour on the show, Susie went on to encourage people to think about the bigger picture.

"Do you have any idea how all of you sound? Labelling me the nasty one based on 12 minutes a night of an extremely edited REALITY TV show (sic)," she wrote.

"When look at all of your comments (sic)? I would not say half of the awful things each one of you has said! Wake up people."

Susie received a lot of flack on the show after having multiple arguments with her husband, Billy, telling him he wasn't "manly" enough, and needed to "grow some balls".

In a recent episode which aired in the UK, the personal trainer even walked out of her home-stay and insisted their marriage was over.

"You're very, very hard to have a relationship with, and I'm trying my best,' Billy told her. "Even after I've had a week of being belittled and talked down to."

However, Susie didn't see things the same way, insisting she had been "nothing but fabulous to him".

It comes after experts also told Susie she needed to adjust her behaviour towards her husband, adding that she wasn't giving him a chance.
