He's the best of both worlds...

Tommy Fury may have sent shock-waves through the Love Island villa with his decision to couple up with Lucie Donlan last night, but the boxer had another surprise up his sleeve for fans as he confessed his love for Hannah Montana.

The 20-year-old light-heavyweight boxer revealed his softer side to viewers on Tuesday as he tried to dispel any preconceptions attached to his famous surname, proving he's the best of both worlds (sorry, not sorry).

"It's mad because everyone judges me on my last name as being a d*ckhead but I am anything but that," Tommy told some of his fellow Islanders, before going on to insist: "I love Hannah Montana for God's sake! There isn't one bad bone in my body."

Tommy is the younger brother of professional British boxer, Tyson Fury, but said he was keen to step out of his older sibling's shadows ahead of his debut in the villa this week.

And viewers were living for his Hannah Montana confession, with many taking to Twitter to share their surprise.

"Tommy Fury is gorgeous AND he loves Hannah Montana?!? Love Island you've outdone yourself," declared one person.

And another questioned: "Did Tommy Fury just say he loves Hannah Montana?" before adding: "I'm now a Tommy Fury Stan account."

"Tommy is a Hannah Montana fan wow I'm sold. Maybe he'll be at the Jonas brothers concert," joked somebody else during last night's episode.

While a fourth tweeted to the platform: "Wouldn't say no to watching Hannah Montana with Tommy."

Tommy, who was a late arrival to the villa on day one with Curtis Pritchard, caused heartbreak last night by 'stealing' Lucie from Joe Garratt during the first round of recouplings in this series.

The drama will no doubt play out tonight as Lucie and Tommy head out on a date together, while Joe has an inevitable meltdown back at the villa.
