Netflix has just dropped its new series Emily in Paris - and if you're a fan of the likes of Gossip Girl or Sex and The City - this one's for you!

In fact, fans are so obsessed, they're even calling for a Season 2 already. So, what's it all about?!

The 10-part series is available on Netflix now (

Well, the series focuses on main character Emily - career driven, ambitious and ready for an adventure, the Chicago-born twenty-something (played by Lily Collins) adopts the attitude of 'fake it 'till you make it' when she's asked to work in Paris for a year, despite speaking zero French.

The 10-part series follows Emily as she tries to navigate her new marketing role, her relationship back in Chicago (and the complicated issue of her neighbour and new love interest, Gabriel).

It's got all the makings of a feel-good series - a brewing romance, outfits we'll be trying to recreate for the next year, career highs and lows - and all set in the beautiful location of Paris.

Think Carrie Bradshaw when she moves to the capital with Aleksandr Petrovsky, or Blair when she meets Prince Louis in the city of love.

As one viewer wrote: "Emily in Paris makes me want to pack my life and move to Paris. Love, work and fashion!!"

Meanwhile, another said: "Finished Emily in Paris this morning and now i'm sad, I need at least 5 more seasons of this show" while one added: "I've watched three minutes of Emily in Paris and I'm OBSESSED."

"I just started watching Emily in Paris and I'm obsessed. It's sooo good," wrote another.

Starring alongside Lily are Ashley Park (Mean Girls on Broadway, Tales of the City), Philippine Leroy Beaulieu (Call My Agent!), Lucas Bravo (Smart Ass), Samuel Arnold (Antony & Cleopatra), Camille Razat (The 15:17 to Paris) and Bruno Gouery (Doc Martin).

It's also created by Darren Starr (who worked on Sex and the City) *and* the outfits are designed by Patricia Field - the genius behind the SATC and The Devil Wears Prada wardrobes.

This explains why we're so obsessed then! You can catch all episodes on Netflix now.
