While the weather may be hotter and the days may be getting longer - it's clear many of us are enjoying a proper good sofa session going through all the best titles Netflix has to offer us.

Now, we already know all about the absolute banger that is Shot Caller but now, fans of the streaming giant are comparing the the 'unbelievable' flick to a 'classic' they're hailing as a '10/10'.

The movie in question first hit our screens way back when in 2009 and boasts a pretty star-studded cast, including the likes of Gerard Butler, Jamie Foxx, Viola Davis and Regina Hall.

Based in Philadelphia, the vigilante action thriller follows the character Clyde Shelton, played by Butler, who is hellbent on exacting revenge on those who killed his family, as well as the police officials including attorney Nick Rice (Foxx) who could not guarantee a proper jail term for the culprits involved.

Clearly frustrated by the horrific ordeal, Clyde decides to take justice into his own hands after the plea bargain sets one of his family's killers free.

If you hadn't guessed it already, the film is none other than director F. Gary Gray and writer Kurt Wimmer's Law Abiding Citizen.

On LADbible's Netflix Bangers page on Facebook, one person asked: "Shot Caller was one of the best movies I’ve ever seen on Netflix. Anymore movies like this?"

A second recommended: "It was pretty decent. I think Law Abiding Citizen is a tad better.

"Both are really good!" agreed a third.

And the hype doesn't stop there as Netflix viewers have also raced to X, formerly Twitter, to share their praise.

"Shot Caller was a good movie, can't believe it's actually on Netflix," revealed one.

A second gushed: "Law Abiding Citizen is almost a classic film and it's performance by Gerard Butler is Oscar-worthy."

"If y’all haven’t seen Law Abiding Citizen on Netflix... DO THAT!" urged a fifth while a sixth chimed in: "If y'all didn’t know, Law Abiding Citizen is on Netflix and it’s the greatest movie they got."
