The first look at Killing Eve season 3 has just dropped and it's fair to say we're already counting down the days until its release.
The hit BBC drama, which follows international assassin Villanelle (Jodie Comer) and MI6 agent Eve (Sandra Oh), lands in the US on 26th April and is expected to drop in full on iPlayer later this year.

Our first glimpse of the latest series shows the show's heroine in full clown costume alongside new character Felix (played by Stefan Iancu), although writers have refused to elaborate on who the mystery man is and what his relationship is to Villanelle.
Further images show Villanelle starting a new life for herself in Barcelona, while Eve is carving out a new career (quite literally) as a chef.

In the cliffhanger season 2 finale, which aired in June last year, Villanelle appeared to shoot Eve dead - however in recently released behind-the-scenes images, Eve was pictured alive and well, sitting on a bench outside London's Liverpool Street station.
Having already been renewed for a fourth season, the nail-biting show has enjoyed huge success on both sides of the Atlantic, with a reported 46 million streaming requests on BBC iPlayer alone.

Since season 1 dropped in 2018, fans have watched the violent cat-and-mouse chase between the two female leads, with lots of twists and turns along the way.
On Friday, fans got excited as Killing Eve's official Twitter account teased that new images would be released this weekend with the cryptic words: "Did you think that was it? Tomorrow."
This year's series has been written by Susanna Heathcote, taking the helm from season 1 writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge (aka Fleabag) and season 2's Emerald Fennell.
As well as returning cast stars Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh, fans will be thrilled to learn that that Fiona Shaw is back as Carolyn Martens, along with Konstantin (Kim Bodnia).
Eve's estranged husband, Niko Polastri (Owen McDonnell), is back for the third run of the series, along with a couple of new cast members too.

Dame Harriet Walter and Danny Sapani will join the cast this season, but it's unclear as yet what roles they will play.
