BBC America just dropped the final trailer for Killing Eve ahead of its release next month, and it looks as intense as ever.

The minute and half-long preview at season two gives fans more insight into what happened to Villanelle (Jodie Comer) after Eve (Sandra Oh) stabbed her, leaving us on a huge cliffhanger.

Villanelle is seen lying in a hospital bed at the start of the new trailer, but she doesn't stay there long as she steps into very ugly footwear and a doctor's uniform to creep down the eerie corridors so she won't be seen.

For someone who spent the majority of season one doing terrible things in lust-worthy outfits, it seems like she'll do anything not to be caught - including wearing a pair of grubby, embellished crocs.

The trailer then cuts to Eve as she continues to try and find Villannelle, with the hunt intensifying.

There's not long to wait until the second season drops either, as it will premier on Sunday 7th April at 8pm on BBC America, and will reportedly be available in the UK soon after (although no exact date has been confirmed just yet).

BBC America announced the new trailer's arrival on Twitter, sharing: "We know you can't get enough. Join the Obsession. Season 2 Premieres Sunday, April 7 at 8pm on and ."

Naturally, fans are sharing the same levels of excitement about the second season as us.

"IM SO READY FOR SEASON 2 OMG," exclaimed one person. While somebody else tweeted: "The crocs scene alone. Iconic."

The series will also welcome new MI5 recruits Hugo, who is played by Edward Blackwell and Jess, who is played by Nina Sosanya.

And if the Golden Globes and numerous other awards are anything to go by, this series will be a must-see.
