Christmas may be just around the corner, but it would seem the Coca Cola truck is not.
The fizzy drinks brand's famous festive advert has become synonymous with the holiday season, with many marking the start of the Christmas season when they first get a glimpse of the "Holidays are coming" commercial.
However, Coca Cola has confirmed that their Christmas truck tour won't go ahead this year.
A spokesperson for the brand announced on Twitter: "In light of further Covid-19 restrictions announced around the country and in line with Government guidelines, unfortunately, we can't go ahead with our annual Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour this year.

"We know this will be disappointing for many people, but our priority is the safety of our consumers and employees.
"We really look forward to welcoming people back next year when the Truck Tour returns."
For those who are unfamiliar, Coca Cola sets their famous van on a tour across the country, with people from all around Britain flocking to snap a selfie and grab a few free samples.

Naturally, the announcement saw an outpouring of disappointment amongst fans of the brand.
"Christmas is cancelled," wrote one.
"Noooo it's the official start to Christmas for us!" added another.

A third chipped in: "First Brexit, then Covid and now the coke lorry has been cancelled. That's it, I'm giving up and finding some desert island to hide on."
"Another disappointment to end a miserable year," a fourth chimed.
However, it's not the end of all of Coca Cola's Christmas joy, with the advert still set to air as usual.
The brand responded to one fan saying: "We've got loads of festive treats to come, but we'll have to check if you're on the nice list first."
