Daisy May Cooper Announces She Is Appearing On 'Celebrity Gogglebox' Tonight

Daisy May Cooper is appearing on Celebrity Gogglebox tonight with her dad, Paul Cooper.

The This Country star will appear in both tonight's episode, and the series finale next week, Channel 4 has confirmed to Tyla.

Writing about her appearance on Instagram, Daisy, 34, joked: "Tonight me and me pa @paul57cooper will be on CELEBRITY GOGGLEBOX!

"I ended up being sick after we filmed this as I ate too many of the free crisps provided... 9PM CHANNEL 4... DON'T MISS IT!"

The pair will settle down on the sofa to watch the likes of Celebrity Masterchef, Ramsay's 24 Hours to Hell and Back, The Supervet: Noel Fitzpatrick and not forgetting Channel 4 and ITV News.

The dad and daughter duo are late additions to the show, and we think they're going to be Gogglebox royalty by the end of it!

Fans think so too, with one commenting on Daisy's Instagram post: "This has already drastically improved my day."

While another person said they nearly accidentally mistook Daisy's dad, Paul, for her beloved sea captain.

"For a split second here I thought it was you and Mr Sea Captain!" They joked.

Daisy fans will know the star has been providing us with all the lockdown laughs after she started a 'love affair' with an Instagram troll posing as a sea captain.

It all started when the sea captain slid into her DMs. And as a laugh (and with some encouragement from followers) Daisy decided to reply and play the catfish at his own game.

Daisy and Paul aren't the only surprise participants on tonight's Celebrity Gogglebox, either. Presenter Anita Rani and her father, Bal will also be sitting down to dissect some of the nation's favourite shows.

Writing on Twitter, Anita explained: "Spent my life shouting at the telly with Dad. From Friday we'll be shouting on yours. @c4gogglebox just got a load more #Yorkshire and #punjabi this IS bloody exciting."

Over the last few weeks, we've been treated to a great Celebrity Gogglebox line up, with stars including Laura Whitmore and boyfriend Iain Stirling, Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash and Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.
