Aldi's Christmas Advert Has Arrived And It Features The Leafy Blinders

You know the drill: November hits and suddenly a slew of brands begin releasing their Christmas adverts.

We've already had ASDA, Iceland, Amazon, and now, Aldi has thrown its festive offering into the mix - and it sees the return of Kevin the Carrot.

People will remember from years gone by, Kevin's on course to become the star of the Christmas dinner, but he's facing a fair amount of hurdles and opposition along the way.

This year, he's being thwarted by the Leafy Blinders, a brussel sprout gang - hilariously lead by Russel Sprout - who aren't too jazzed about the humble carrot's plans to throw a massive Christmas show.

The advert starts with the menacing gang tying Kevin up to a grater about the teach him a lesson, when he's saved by Tiny Tom.

Kevin escapes and is able to deliver his all singing all dancing Christmas show. The carrot goes all 'Greatest Showman' on us, singing his own festive rendition of Robby Williams' 'Let Me Entertain You'.

Kevin's family, Katie and the kids, make an appearance, as do a ton of other Christmas dinner favourites - with a brussel sprout fart joke thrown in for luck.

Well it wouldn't be Christmas without one.

Kevin first hit screens in 2016 when he tackled the assault course of the Christmas table to finally land a starring role on Santa's sleigh.

And 2017 saw Kevin win the affections of Katie the carrot as he shows chivalry in an Orient Express-style murder mystery.

As for 2018's Christmas ad, we saw Kevin defeat the Wicked Parsnip who was keeping a group of carrot's hostage.
