All The Christmas Menus Are Here So Say Bye To Your Sad Desk Lunch

No need to worry about bringing in a sad desk lunch for the next few weeks because it's that wonderful time of year when you can rely on your favourite coffee chains for their festive menus.

Starbucks and Pret have announced their menus today and boy are they stuffed full of the best bits of a delicious Christmas dinner.

From a 'Brie and Cran-merry Focaccia' for the veggies, a 'Very Merry Vegan Wrap', to a 'Festive Feast Panini', Starbucks has got your growling stomach covered.

As for the drinks, not only are they filled with Christmas flavours, but Starbucks is bringing back the original reusable red cup (£1.50) from 5th November until 2nd January, to give everyone the chance to have their fix of festive cheer.

So don't forget to warm your cockles with a Gingerbread, Toffee Nut or Eggnog Lattes (from £3.15) and the brand new luxurious 'Toasted Marshmallow Hot Chocolate' (£3.10) which combines marshmallow syrup and is topped with marshmallow flavoured whipped cream.

Pret returns with its classic 'Christmas Lunch' and 'Veggie Christmas Lunch' sandwiches as well as a gluten-free option (all from £3.75).

Completing the sandwich range is a vegan option, 'Very Merry Christmas Lunch' (from £3.75) which has grilled carrots, crispy onions and baby leaf spinach, combined with Pret's festive vegan stuffing and port and orange cranberry sauce.

The chain's also got something for the sweet tooth in all of us lunchtime shoppers with 'Christmas Tiffin' (60p) and 'Melvin, Pret's Melting Gingerbread Snowman' (£1.50).

Costa is on hand with its cosy festive delights including a non-alcoholic Irish Velvet or Hazelnut Latte or hot chocolate (from £3.30).

There's also 'British Pigs and Blankets Mac and Cheese', and a Vegan Society approved 'Veggies Under Vest' Sandwich filled with falafel and parsnip stuffing, carrot, cranberry sauce, vegan mayonnaise and fresh spinach.

The brand's even got a limited edition 'Terry's Chocolate Orange Muffin' filled with gooey chocolate orange sauce, topped off with a segment of the famous chocolate orange (£2.25).

Never fear Greggs lovers, because the bakers' popular 'Festive Bake' (£1.55) will be available from November 7th along with a helping of 'Pigs in Blankets' either bought in a tub (£2.25 selected stores) or in a baguette (£3.00).

It's also added plenty of sweet treats to lift your festive lunch spirits from 'Christmas Ring Bun' (85p each or 4 for £2.75), 'Penguin Novelty Biscuits' (from £1.50) and 'Chocolate Cake Bars' (from 90p).

Other lunchtime hotspots are also releasing their festive offerings including Sainsbury's, Boots and M&S.

Boots' customer favourite 'Pigs Under Blankets' Sandwich (£2.75) makes a return as well as the brand new 'Vegan Christmas Market' Sandwich (£3.00), and a low calorie option from their Shapers range 'Turkey Stuffing and Cranberry Wrap (£3.15).

M&S started rolling out its Christmas menu early with its staple 'Turkey Feast' sarnie, where five per cent of the cost is donated to Shelter. There's also a vegetarian 'No Turkey Feast' option.

Sainsbury's has an 'On The Go Ham & Wensleydale' sandwich, and for German food fans a 'On The Go Christmas Market' sarnie too (£3.00).

There's lunchtime sorted until 25th December.
