Ashley Tisdale has announced she is pregnant with her first child with a sweet Instagram post.
The High School Musical star, 35, shared the happy news with her 12.8 million followers on Thursday, posting a series of photos with her husband Christopher French, 38.

In the first of the photos, the pair stand toe-to-toe while both looking down at Ashley's small bump as the actress cradles it, while in the second, they give each other beaming smiles.
Both wear white while standing in the garden of the their Hollywood Hills home.
The comments instantly lit up as Ashley's former co-stars and she and her musician husband's famous friends posted their congratulations.

Ashley's longtime friend and former HSM co-star wrote Vanessa Hudgens: "Just the freaking cutest," adding on Christopher's post: "So so happy for u guyssssss. Congratulations."
"So happy for you babe! You're going to be the best mama!" wrote Lea Michele, another HSM co-star.
"Omg congratulations!!!" said Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco.
"OMGGGG," added actress Lucy Hale, while Emma Roberts simply left a string of heart eye emojis.

Ashley and Christopher tied the knot in 2014 in Santa Barbara, California after two years of dating.
The couple recently celebrated their six year anniversary on 8th September with Ashley leaving a heartfelt tribute on her Instagram.
"Wow I can't believe we've been married 6 years?!! Time flies," she wrote.

"I remember having so much fear the minute we got together because I couldn't believe how good you treated me. I had never been treated that way. But I let go and trusted my heart and 8 months later we were a couple of crazy kids engaged.
"Chris you truly have made me a better version of myself because you keep inspiring me everyday. Your heart is pure, you would do anything to make me happy, through the ups and downs you are my solid rock.
"I'm so grateful I get to be your wife. I love you and after all this time I'm still into you."
Similarly, Chris wrote on his own Instagram: "Six years. There are so many moments, so many tiny fragile little moments that I can look at specifically.
