The original cast of High School Musical will reunite for a special Disney Family Singalong this week.

The special virtual show will see stars including Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale reuniting for a performance of 'We're All In This Together' *and* Zac Efron will also be involved.

The show, hosted by Ryan Seacrest, will air on ABC on Thursday 16th April at 8pm EST (but will be available to watch on YouTube and social media afterwards).

The programme will also include a series of announcements to raise awareness of Feeding America, in a bid to help those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This week, it was confirmed that among the East High Wildcats returning for the performance will be Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Lucas Grabeel, Monique Coleman *and* Zac Efron, although it's believed Zac - who is reported to have recorded a video message for the special - won't be as involved as some of the other stars.

Director Kenny Ortega told Deadline: "We couldn't reach Zac until late but when we did, he immediately jumped in, of course."

The show is set to reunite former Disney stars, who will perform their best-loved musical numbers for fans in lockdown.

These include Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato and Elle Fanning who have all signed up to be part of the special show. Ariana will perform 'I Won't Say I'm In Love' from Hercules while Demi Lovato and Michael Buble will team up for 'A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes'.

Christina Aguilera will sing 'Can You Feel the Love Tonight' from The Lion King and if you're a Frozen fan, you'll be pleased to know Thomas Rhett will perform 'Do You Want to Build a Snowman' while Amber Riley will take on 'Let It Go'.

Other stars announced include: Alan Menken, Josh Groban, Darren Criss, Tori Kelly, Marcus Scribner, Erin Andrews, Bobby Bones, Kristin Chenoweth, Auliʻi Cravalho, Luke Evans, Jordan Fisher, Josh Gad, Derek Hough, Julianne Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, Little Big Town, Donny Osmond and John Stamos.

Tori Kelly will take on her Pocahontas cover of "Colours of the Wind' while Darren Criss will perform 'I Wanna Be Like You' from the Jungle Book.

This is certainly one for every single Disney fan on the planet. We can't wait to sing along to every track (sorry neighbours!)
