Tyson Fury Asks Fans To Pray For Daughter As Newborn Daughter Athena Returns To ICU

Tyson Fury Asks Fans To Pray For Daughter As Newborn Daughter Athena Returns To ICU

The boxer shared a picture of his daughter on a ventilator as he asked fans for their prayers.

Boxer Tyson Fury has asked fans to "pray" for his daugter, Athena, as she has been placed back on a ventilator.

The heavyweight champ and his wife Paris welcomed their sixth child on Sunday morning - little Athena.

And while the parents didn't reveal what was wrong with the newborn, shortly afterwards she was put straight on a ventilator, in ICU.

While she came off the ventilator briefly, and Paris shared a picture of her on social media, telling fans she was "doing well, it has now been revealed that she is back in intensive care.

"Baby Athena is back on ICU," Tyson wrote to fans. "Please keep her in your prayers."

As Tyson asked for support online, his brother's girlfriend, Molly-Mae Hague was quick to do just that, sharing a sweet tribute to the little one during an Instagram Q&A.

When asked about the little one, Molly replied that she was a "very strong baby girl", adding: "She's absolutely perfect and I'm obsessed with her name.

"Sending all the love in the world to @ParisFury1 and @GypsyKing101 right now."

Tyson and Paris - who have been married since 2009 - are already parents to Venezuela, 11, and three-year-old Valencia Amber, as well as sons Prince John James, eight, Prince Tyson II, four and Prince Adonis, one.

While we don't yet know anything else about Athena's condition, Tyson has launched a fundraiser for the Alder Hey Family House Trust, which helps run the Ronald McDonald House in the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool, helping provide accommodation to parents whose children are in urgent care.

"They offer support and a safe place, just a stone’s throw away from the hospital, as they experience the toughest time of their lives. Every £30 donated could provide a home from home for one family for one night at Mac House," the page explains.

"Do you want to join me in making a difference? I’m raising money in aid of Alder Hey Family House Trust who run the Ronald McDonald House at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital which has been supporting us.

"Every donation will help! Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me".
