The X Factor star Tom Mann revealed the heartbreaking news earlier this week that his fiancée had suddenly passed away on their wedding day.

The singer, 28, has now taken to Instagram to pay tribute to Dani, 34, who he described as his ‘best friend’.

Mann paid tribute by sharing a series of quotes first posted by his late partner, who he shared an eight-month-old son with.

He shared the quote on his Instagram Stories: “You fall, you rise, you make mistakes, you live, you learn.

“You're human, not perfect. You've been hurt, but you're alive.

“Think of what a precious privilege it is to breathe, to think, to enjoy, and to chase the things you love.

“Sometimes there is sadness in our journey, but there is also lots of beauty.

“We must keep putting one foot in front of the other even when we hurt, for we will never know what is waiting for us around the bend.”

Dani tragically passed away on the morning of Saturday (June 18), which was the day the couple were meant to marry.

The singer announced the death of the mother of his child on Monday night in an equally heartbreaking post.

He wrote: “I can’t believe I am writing these words but my darling Dani - my best friend, my everything and more, the love of my life - passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning, 18th June.”

"On what was supposed to be the happiest day of our lives ended in irreversible heartbreak.”

“I feel like I have cried an ocean. We never made it to the alter; or got to say our vows, or dance our first dance, but I know you know that you were my entire world and the best thing that has ever happened to me, Danielle."

The dad of one then said that he was going to wear his wedding despite never getting to say 'I do' to the mother of his child.

He wrote: “I will wear this ring that I was always supposed to wear as a sign of my unconditional love to you.”

The young father is now trying to remain strong for the sake of his son, Bowie.

“I am completely broken trying to process this and I honestly don't know where to go from here, but I do know I need to use any strength I can muster for our little boy,” he added.

“I will not be a mark on the parent that you had already become but I promise I will do my everything to raise Bowie just the way we always wanted. I promise you he will know how amazing his mummy was. I promise to make you so so proud.

“The most beautiful person inside and out. The most incredible soul. We have lost such a special person and I am sure we are about to see an abundant outpouring of love that reflects that. I will try to find peace in your messages and comments, but right now I am grieving and I will be for a very, very long time.

“My darling Dani, the brightest light in any room, my world is nothing but darkness without you. I will miss you forever.”

It is believed that the couple began dating in 2015, the Daily Mail reports, and they went on to announce their engagement in December 2019.
