Lauren Goodger Flooded With Support Following Daughter's Heartbreaking Death

Lauren Goodger Flooded With Support Following Daughter's Heartbreaking Death

The reality TV star announced that her daughter had passed away on Sunday.

Lauren Goodger has been flooded with support after revealing that her baby daughter passed away on Sunday (July 10).

The Only Way is Essex star, 35, made the revelation on Instagram yesterday alongside a picture of her hand and that of her late daughter Lorena.

She explained that she 'can't understand' how she lost her and Charles Drury's baby so suddenly after she gave birth on Friday (July 8) and 'there [were] no pregnancy or labour complications'.

Goodger wrote: "She was fine & healthy but I am not going into detail right now just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect I can't understand it she is so so beautiful Larose twin so similar... [sic]

"I am broken."

The mum-of-two, who welcomed her first child, Larose, with Drury in July 2021, added that she hasn't said 'goodbye' to her daughter yet and explained that her other daughter, Larose, is getting her through her grief.

Reacting to the heartbreaking post, Amy Childs wrote: "Sending you love Lauren."

Celebrity hair stylist James Johnson added: "Oh Lauren I’m sending you and [Charles Drury] my love, thinking of you all [sic] xxx"

"I am so so heart broken for you," wrote Natasha Sandhu. "I'm so sorry. It hurts reading this. I can't even begin to imagine how you are feeling, sending you so so much love and prayers and strength [sic] xxxx"

"Awww Lauren, I'm honestly so heartbroken for you... sending you all so much love," wrote Vicky Pattinson.

"So so sorry," added Maura Higgins. "Sending all the love and strength."

Meanwhile, Drury himself commented on Goodger's post about their daughter, writing: "She will always be with us."

Drury has currently made his Instagram account private at this devastating time.

A source told The Sun of the loss: "It’s been such a shock for the couple but the NHS has been amazing.

"Friends are rallying around and they have a good support network

"It will be tough for them. They need time to grieve and heal."

Goodger previously opened up to OK! Magazine about her fears of having two children so close together.

She said: "I was like, 'I'm just getting myself back together - I'm going back to square one. Is this fair?’ You get real mum guilt, like, ‘What about Larose?’

"She's still a baby, she still needs me, I won't be able to be there for her."
